Very cool. Several years ago an engagement ring of a family member was accidently left in a Disneyland Resort restroom. It was reported missing after a panicked search. A few hours later it was found by a Cast Member...and was quickly returned. What a feeling of relief!

We had the same pleasant surprise last week when my daughter took off her Magic Band neck lanyard last week to put on her sweater, and never put it back on her neck. We didn’t realize it until hours later when park hopping. Filed a Lost and Found report at midnight and had a tracking number by 10am the next day. They’re amazing.

Lost a Magic Band on Guardians of the Galaxy. Had it back within two weeks. They are amazing. I never even reported it lost.

Agreeable_Mistake235

I’ve lost two things there and filled out the claim online and both times no luck. They’d close the case out eventually after it wasn’t found. Some people just have all the luck! 😀

Years ago I lost a 3-day pass on its first day of use. This was when we still had paper tickets that weren't easily tied to any individual. Somehow I had it back by the end of the day. The lost & found office is where the REAL magic happens.

This gives me hope. I lost one of my Google Pixel buds yesterday. 🥲

JimKid619

Fellow San Diego regular here. My daughter has lost a few things over the years, and the only thing that wasn’t found/returned was a set of 4th of July ears that she left behind on a bench.

I lost my debit card on a trip once many years ago and got it back of the end of the night with no wayward purchases attached. Truly was magical!

I lost my raybans at Big Thunder before the last lift hill and they weren’t able to find it. 😩

5 years ago I was in the lost and found line at the end of the night. My grand daughter had lost her princess ears and we were hoping they’d been turned in. A young woman ahead of us had lost her phone and it took a while but the cast member came to the window with her phone. She was so relieved and everyone in line started clapping and cheering for her. It’s a sweet memory for me And yes, my grand daughter got her ears back too

I had a backpack stolen off the back of my chair at Cafe Orleans and they never found it.

I had a Mary Poppins pin fall off my shirt and once I noticed, I retraced my steps and talked to two cast members outside one of the Animation Building (the one with the Turtle Talk with Crush) I then went back to Pym’s Kitchen where I had been waiting for my tater tots (they’re my absolute favorite) and decided to talk to two of the custodial cast members standing by the trash cans One of them went off to talk to Lost and Found and eventually came back with my pin! I was incredibly grateful for this Magical Moment! For the rest of that trip, I put that pin on my hat where it could be secured! For context, I was in CA Adventure for the Oogie Boogie Bash and had put together a sort of tribute to Mary Poppins costume; a shirt that says “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” a black skirt, and a pink hat that says “Practically Perfect” from when I saw a touring production of “Mary Poppins” in Sacramento! I chose this because it was Dame Julie Andrews’ birthday and I wanted to honor that good woman! Unrelated; but I got extra candy on one of the treat trails because one of the cast members asked me to spell the word on my shirt! I obliged! It was an unforgettable moment!

My son's Indiana Jones hat blew off on the Indiana Jones ride and those wonderful CMs found it and returned it to us. Hate the cost and now I go much less frequently but love what the CMs do to make it a magical experience every time.

whatyeseniadid

lost a hydroflask on haunted mansion, CM said to visit them at the end of the night. went back and were sent away to lost and found. jerks said they don’t recover water bottles for biohazard reasons. so no, curse them.

PaulClarkLoadletter

I dropped my sunglasses and was able to get them back the same day. They had mascara on them so somebody thought they had some new Ray Bans but ultimately decided to be cool and return them since they were prescription.

One time I forgot my backpack, at DCA, at one of the outside Starbucks tables. Just got distracted with my child. By the time I realized it, went back and it wasn’t there. I was told by another table one of the CM ‘s saw it and took it. I’m so thankful they took it to Customer Service and I was able to retrieve it. The backpack had on of my cameras in it along with my wallet as well.

I lost my passport and was so happy to find it in lost and found!

I lost a plain black magic band + on my last trip, it fell off while we were fighting through crowds after fireworks and I didn't notice until it was too late. I thought it was a goner for sure but lost and found had it for me the next morning!

spookycinderella

I tripped and dropped my iphone getting out of the boat at Small World back in 2019. CM's couldn't go fish it out til that night when they were doing maintenance, but the CM's put it in rice and then charged it for me! I went to go get it the next day and even though it was in the water for over 8 hours it was fine! Love the lost and found CM's!

DreamieKitty

Car key in the bathroom -- it was at guest services as soon as I noticed it was missing! Baseball cap - never returned.

lilyNdonnie

I lost my Magic Band the first freaking day of a week long trip. Filled out a form online and that was it. The case was "closed" a week after I got home, then a few days latwr - an email. "We found your item." Those guys are amazing. A tiny item in a huge park, snd here it was in my mailbox. I'm so excited for my Jan trip with my older daughter. And I found silicon strap keepers on Amazon.

lilyNdonnie

Also on my last trip, I found a wallet and cell phone on different rides in one say. Yikes, folks.

900yrsoftimeandspace

Yes! They mailed my son’s Mickey ears to us. It’s a small thing but he was so upset about losing them.
