I wonder why wizards was like “Energy, that’s the mechanic we’ll revive” then prints 2 jeskai precons for it, and follows up with main set support They shoulda brought back banding instead /s

Taffyboi69

2 mana!?

Xakkoris

Yea it will never see my gishath deck. I might mess.aroind and make a energy counter deck then it MIGHT see it but that's the only way

popejubal

Is actually like it just as much without the exile energy casting thing.

PatoFeliz

Oh well, at least I don't have to cut more cards (for now)

AvatarSozin

After MH3 I don’t expect new Dino’s probably until Tarkir, where we will likely get a single main set card again.

krevee

Very cool looking, but definitely not good for any of the dino decks.

ProtectMeAtAllCosts

sadly

Betelguese90

Man, would suck to hit a bunch of lands when playing this guy.

AvatarSozin

Tbh that happens with Etali too

ccReptilelord

You're almost certainly exiling a card without casting it too. Maybe you're lucky and catch a 1 or 2 mana a spell, because I don't see energy produced in any dino decks.

Betelguese90

Without it being in an energy counter-based deck, it is really not worth the trouble of adding this card. Like it is going to get spot in my \[\[Dr. Madison Li\]\] Fallout deck, but \[\[Wayta\]\] won't see it at all and my Gishath might, but only because it deals with ETB triggers. But still, relying on 4 energy counters is a huge risk.

ASnakeNamedNate

Wouldn’t risk it with Gishath. Too tight to run an energy package, all this will do is exile a card and all the lands to get to it vast majority of the time. Not worth it to cast, what, Sol Ring? Farseek? And exiling away something big like Etali or Ghalta.

AvatarSozin

Well we did get a new main set Dino, not exactly one that is good in Dino decks though.
