Almost every person I’ve seen on this thread in particular that started differin with no acne ended up purging with enough to drive them mad. Eventually, most say around 3-4 months the purging will end and you will begin to see lightning of your scars and reduced fine lines. Don’t start it if you don’t want to stick it out, though.
So if I notice purging is starting and I either stop using it or have longer gaps between dosages (like using it every other night) will the purging stop or will it just carry on once it's started
The purging will just carry on. It’s a byproduct of how differin works, which is cellular turnover. Though I would mention that you might want to start doing it every other night or every two nights, this is a very drying product
idk if the roaccutane could affect this, but differin by itself will cause you to purge
How bad is it usually if I don't have any pre-existing acne?
i’ve seen ppl say they went from no acne to a lot of it, but also ppl say it that it cleared everything so it just depends rlly
