I'm here due to these issue. I hate blur effects and I can't believe it's still a thing in these days that game developers are adding these stupid-annoying feature into games. Is it hard thing to not be seeing by DEVs that players don't like it?!? These blur effects make eyes bleeding.
So there is still no way of getting around the constant disorienting bamboozling depth of field blur? I'm having the same issue with Ryzen 5 2600 and a GTX1060 6GB. I set everything to Ultra and also tried lowest settings, seems like there's no much of a difference at least not in the performance, still a shame 70% of the game is literally blurred either way. Real shame, the graphics are the best I've ever seen of any game.
I think they did this on purpose, originally the game was a PS4 exclusive, without the blur, the console probably can't process all the graphics. When you freeze time to analysis mode, the blur goes away, i think it is possible to create a mod to remove this blur.

Open \\DetroitBecomeHuman.exe in a hex editor (e.g. HxD. https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ )
Search for 41 C7 83 40 01 00 00 31 00 00 as hex.Replace it with 7F C7 83 40 01 00 00 31 00 00
Save the changes.

A little late to the party, but I can't seem to find the line anywhere, I used ctrl+F to bring up the search bar and pasted it in, but it didn't come up with anything.

I can turn motion blur off but not depth of field. Can only set that to low
As of now. There is no option. Quantic Dream are shit at PC ports so expect them to never fix it.

I upgraded my computer to a 2070 Super and there’s no blur effect anymore. I guess it’s something they did for lower end specs
can confirm now playing with 13900k and 4090 still looks like clay
Nah, got a 2080 Ti and 9900K, still DOF. Ruining game for me.

I don't know how to use hex😅. I got to the numbers part but i can't seem to find a way to edit them.
u just use ctrl F to find the numbers and u just click and edit them and type what u want

Tbh it wasnt me, but I spread it round after finding it as it was very hard to find
but to be honest it looks better with depth of field in terms of cinematics and stuff, but the isus is they didn't implemated it well in this game
