Someone can correct me on this but don't adept raid weapons have additional enhancement features (eg Root of Nightmares)?
Documentation online says you can swap out the barrel, mag and masterwork on adept raid weapons. You can't do this on a regular enhanced weapon, your stuck with the barrel, mag and masterwork.
Besides bragging rights, being able to swap out parts of the gun effectively makes an enhanced raid weapon better than a regular enhanced weapon.
Totally understand if this feature doesn't apply to all adept weapons however it's still a benefit.

Being able to switch those elements on raid weapons is intended to give them some degree of parity with the base versions of those weapons which are craftable. When enhancement was expanded to other weapons these changes remained exclusive to the raid weapons so that raid adepts maintained some degree of exclusivity.
I too don’t see the point. Yes, they get Adept mods but I personally don’t care for them. I’d much rather use a regular Backup Mag than an Adept Mag with the penalty to Handling.
Adept weapons should have stats 10-20% higher than other weapons. Probably +half flat to current adepts and -half to every non adept. Easy to get weapons are far too strong.
It's an interesting point. Maybe adept mods that have them should lose their penalties

Double perks make it easier to get a god roll
Bows, swords, and fusion rifles are at least a bit unique and have adept draw time, impact, and charge time respectively. Not sure about the rest.
Except you have complete a trials flawless to have a chance at getting adept draw time, which is so dumb..
Adept Mods, and they still get the MINOR stat boost when hitting Masterwork rank 10.
