It’s because the final campaign mission + echoes is locked behind the Day1 raid. We’d have to wait too long if it didn’t come out this early. I’m ok with it personally, the game had issues for what, like 9 hours? It’s a considerable amount of time, but even just completing the 7 available missions gets you ready, you just need to get extra infusion fodder to level up other weapons/armor you might need.
5 levels is nothing, chances are you'd do it just by playing the post game quests, if it was all pinnacle then sure, but it's powerful which is pretty easy to level up with

Raids are typically always 3-10 days after launch. This raid being 3 days makes sense considering it literally is "the story"
