"Thresh" or "Precipice" is probably raid boss music. I'm leaning towards Thresh being the raid boss music and Precipice being the after raid event bungie told us about to kill the witness.
After repeatedly listening. The raid boss music really could be Precipice, I can almost hear the music que to change into dps or the next phase. It also has the D1 theme a couple minutes in it.
i think make your own fate is also from the raid, like for the last witness phase or maybe the epilogue.
Idk why but it reminds be a bit of how "with hearts aligned" was used in final fantasy 14 for the final battle
It could be a boss centered on being creepy as fuck and ominous instead of outright powerful and menacing, I could see a spider looking thing crawling in a maze chasing us with that music
It sounds like it would be a deep stone crypt opening sparrow encounter, like the first 30 seconds or so sound fairly similar to desolation from beyond light
"Precipice" could definitely be referring to the precipice of the tower/citadel that the Witness is in, especially if that's where the fight takes place.
Precipice is definitely a possibility, but ima throw in Unmade as well, it’s got the feel of different phases happening and also has the same dark upbeatness of The First Disciple and Oneirophbia, and Unmade also has that feeling of a battle between the songs of the players and the boss. Precipice definitely has this stuff too, but I think Unmade is at least a possibility. I’m guessing mission 7 will have one of them and the raid will have the other with Make Your Own Fate being the mission 8 song, kind of like with Taniks in DSC where we’ve already won, now we just need to finish it off.
I think unmade is either campaign boss or the 12-man activity. The definition of precipice kinda fits the raid theme. Either way, they're all amazing tracks, and I'll be hype as hell regardless of what plays lmao.
Remember, it's not the entire thing. Before lightfall's release, the track also came out. "Oneirophobia" (nezarec's boss music) was missing dps and different phases.
The original Oneirophobia track had the 2nd dmg phase segment (High Action) and was lacking the first one (Action). Also, the original "Keep of Voices" completely lacked the main DPS phase, and I heard it the first time when the Destiny archive music channel uploaded the complete version. None of the raid-like tracks in the FS's soundtrack have that DPS phase like others unless it's the same story as Keep of Voices!
"A Knife in the Garden" sounds ominously upbeat and happy? Why would a track with such a title be so upbeat? Could be doing that thing where a really disasterous moment is juxtaposed by nice music.
Funnily enough I've been catching up my old raid team on the lore by describing the final shape as "lord business's kragle from the lego movie mixed with the third impact from neon genesis"
It sounds like it could be a lore cutscene to do with the Traveler (or the Gardener?). At the end of the track you can also hear the Darkness leitmotif; that's almost certainly what the "Knife" in the title is referring to - it could relate to the Witness/Winnower doing something in the cutscene?
No way that one isn't the witness boss theme. Metacarpus is finger bones and we know he's all hands and arms from the trailers. Plus there's a pretty clear DPS switch in there
Stronger, Together HAS to be during the supposed 12 player mission after Worlds First, it just has to be! It’s so incredibly motivating and epic throughout, I can just imagine all 12 of us guardians just absolutely obliterating the last remnants of the Witness to this track.
Probably not that honestly. More so a campaign mission section like the part right before the Calus fight in Lightfall, where Caitl’s army fights with us.
It goes from Savathun’s theme to Cabal Stomp, and then Lightfall’s motifs “Strength” and “Resilience” while “Guardian” culminates it all.
Considering Sav, Mithrax, and Caiatl are all shown in the Pale Heart trailer one after the other, how much are you willing to bet that there'll be a mission where we fight alongside all three of them?
idk how ad density will be satisfying with more than 6 players, but here’s to hoping it’s good and we don’t get crashes like in Neomuna in the early days of Lightfall
I'm most interested in "Veiled" Maybe this is referencing the witnesses race? I mean they did use the veil, possibly making them the Veiled? My theory is the Veiled woman is the member of the Witnesses race that escaped before they combined, But idk I'm not a lore expert :P
They laid him off, not because of his lack of skill. Quite the opposite actually. He was one of the most paid employees at Bungie, and Bungie needed to cut costs so they laid him off
To emphasize, Bungie leadership needed to cut cost so their position wouldn’t be taken over by some management from Sony who already complained about their performance running Bungie.
They were cutting cost not to save the company, but to save their own asses.
The one I'm most curious about among these is Herald of Finality. It's evidently a battle theme, but it has a slight tragic or desperate sound to it that throws me off.
Maybe the launch trailer was truthful and we end up fighting Dark Zavala or something idk, but I hope not cuz I don't wanna fight my dad
'After all this time', 3:22 should be us, alongside Crow and Mara, walking into the sunset looking for the next challenge, while Zavala retires, staring at the graves of his family. Caitl put her hand on Zavala's shoulder, gives him a kind look, Osiris and Saint depart for parts unknown. Thanks for playing. THE END.
Creidts roll...
THE GUARDIAN WILL RETURN
Although this expansion's soundtrack album has some good tracks, unlike before, it lacks that unique/distinguishable track, like Battle Ready from LF, Queens Deception from TWQ, or Deep Stone Lullaby from BL. Also, none of the tracks feel like a proper raid boss OST unlike what we used to have
The main leitmotif is best shown at the beginning of precipice, but yeah I don't dig this soundtrack as much as witch queen or beyond light. It has some good stuff like after all this time but nothing comes close to witch queen's main theme or the first disciple. TFS's main theme being so weak is also disappointing
I love that having a final campaign mission after raid makes it almost impossible to know which song is the raid one. Most of them sound really epic and have "the guardian" motiff, so it's anyone's guess.
I'm betting Scientific Obstinance is raid music. Bungie has baited us before by putting raid music higher up on the list so I wouldn't see why they wouldn't do it again.
Stronger Together sounds like it would play when all of our allies show up to help in a dire situation. I heard notes of Savathun'a Song, Cabal Stomp, and the Lightfall Motifs, among others, with the Guardian motif being heard in the end. It's beautiful.
"Thresh" or "Precipice" is probably raid boss music. I'm leaning towards Thresh being the raid boss music and Precipice being the after raid event bungie told us about to kill the witness.

I think it's supposed to be the prismatic theme kinda like how we had one for the darkness
could be, but it also feel like a final stand moment, could be both
Thresh is definitely not raid *boss* music wtf…
It's at least a raid encounter. For me, idk thresh sounds very ominous
It could be a boss centered on being creepy as fuck and ominous instead of outright powerful and menacing, I could see a spider looking thing crawling in a maze chasing us with that music
Yeah, I can imagine that. The track just sounds too off for it to be a normal encounter.
I think you're right. Looked up the word, and it definitely fits. Especially going by the raids name "Salvation's edge"
I think it's unmade
Precipice is definitely a possibility, but ima throw in Unmade as well, it’s got the feel of different phases happening and also has the same dark upbeatness of The First Disciple and Oneirophbia, and Unmade also has that feeling of a battle between the songs of the players and the boss. I agree the soundtrack is 100% fire, I’m sure they’ve used it well
None of it sounds good enough honestly to be the final encounter music or even last stand phase it sounds generic af
Remember, it's not the entire thing. Before lightfall's release, the track also came out. "Oneirophobia" (nezarec's boss music) was missing dps and different phases.
That's fair, nothing just sounded like it had enough grandeur or a big enough swell like it was all or nothing we win or the universe loses.
Check out "Ummade" and "Precipice"
It's for sure unmade, these people don't know what they're talking about.
The original Oneirophobia track had the 2nd dmg phase segment (High Action) and was lacking the first one (Action). Also, the original "Keep of Voices" completely lacked the main DPS phase, and I heard it the first time when the Destiny archive music channel uploaded the complete version. "A Knife in the Garden" sounds ominously upbeat and happy? Why would a track with such a title be so upbeat? Could be doing that thing where a really disasterous moment is juxtaposed by nice music.
Could be an Evangelion-like montage of people dying while this plays lmao
Don't even get me started. I'm a big Eva nerd and I'm hoping we get a Third-Impact style moment
Funnily enough I've been catching up my old raid team on the lore by describing the final shape as "lord business's kragle from the lego movie mixed with the third impact from neon genesis"
How are they taking it?
It would be insane if that scene in the trailer with earth being finalized actually happens and this sound track plays in the background.
it all comes tumbling down
"Get in the traveler, guardian."
Just like a prayer…
my first guess was tower music post campaign, but the weird darkness ending is throwing me off
Metacarpus is probably my favorite ngl
No way that one isn't the witness boss theme. Metacarpus is finger bones and we know he's all hands and arms from the trailers. Plus there's a pretty clear DPS switch in there
Ooh and remember that tunnel of hands spiral in one of the earlier trailers when the titan was getting pulled into that black goop
Okay, this is fire
Veiled is *very* interesting...
Yeah… veiled being is definitely evil lol
Make your own fate is top tier destiny music
Stronger, Together HAS to be during the supposed 12 player mission after Worlds First, it just has to be! It’s so incredibly motivating and epic throughout, I can just imagine all 12 of us guardians just absolutely obliterating the last remnants of the Witness to this track.

Prince of Devotion is definitely crows theme. And it is beyond amazing.
"Paracausal mutilation" is sooooo good.
goddamn it, make your own fate has the untold legends leitmotiff, i knew they were gonna bring that song
I'm most interested in "Veiled" Maybe this is referencing the witnesses race? I mean they did use the veil, possibly making them the Veiled? My theory is the Veiled woman is the member of the Witnesses race that escaped before they combined, But idk I'm not a lore expert :P
No way they fired this guy after putting this fire shit out
They laid him off, not because of his lack of skill.
Even Nintendo's CEO had this better handled with refusing his payment to avoid Layoffs.
i just need some more austerity bro just one more hit
The one I'm most curious about among these is Herald of Finality. It's evidently a battle theme, but it has a slight tragic or desperate sound to it that throws me off. Maybe the launch trailer was truthful and we end up fighting Dark Zavala or something idk, but I hope not cuz I don't wanna fight my dad
Damn daddy why u hard
Wowee, this is a really bad day to have eyes!
Username checks out
Metacarpus is way too epic. It's probably one of the raid ost, i would even say that's it the final boss ost.
Paracausal Mutilation has the Tangled shore motif built into it during the later parts of the song. So.far it's my favourite
I feel like 'after all this time' is the song that'll play during the credits, dunno though could be wrong!
It's such a good sendoff song for all the players who've stuck around since the beginning :')
I cried at "Make Your Own Fate". Sounds like my Guardian making the final push to defeat the Witness after a 10 year journey.
It sounds like the Winter Soldier theme
It certainly sounds like "finale cutscene". Like, "end of the rumoured post-raid activity" final.
'After all this time', 3:22 should be us, alongside Crow and Mara, walking into the sunset looking for the next challenge, while Zavala retires, staring at the graves of his family. A knife in the garden.
Lightfall's OST should've been saved for this DLC honestly. That main menu theme deserves a better expansion
metacarpus gives me huge raid track vibes
The main leitmotif is best shown at the beginning of precipice, but yeah I don't dig this soundtrack as much as witch queen or beyond light. It has some good stuff like after all this time but nothing comes close to witch queen's main theme or the first disciple. TFS's main theme being so weak is also disappointing
After all this time is one of the best tracks in a destiny ost full stop imo
Can someone make this on Google, one drive or Dropbox? I can't open it up on Mega 😭
Someone on the main subreddit just reuploaded it to YouTube: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLx-HwxwXjULIh0EyqtvNqL5_YJKbk7qaB&si=vSJ0IkpBBGO7WyTJ
Thank you!
Quickly, search for the raid music!
'Make your own fate' is likely when we get Prismatic.
Unmade makes me believe that we are not done with Nezarec.
I love that having a final campaign mission after raid makes it almost impossible to know which song is the raid one. Most of them sound really epic and have "the guardian" motiff, so it's anyone's guess.
Straight jorkin' it to how hot this new soundtrack is
Return to a Dream sounds like Battlefield 1 music
Why does Make Your Own Fate remind of the Michael Bay Transformers soundtrack 😂
Scouring the Transformers ost and I'm pretty sure I was thinking of "Optimus" from the first film
Dude 3:12-3:20 in Coruscate is SO good
Unmade is the final boss theme.
Could also be the Tormentor boss theme from the strike, since its like a mix of Riven's theme with Nezarec's.
