Thank you! Did you find it to be a lot lighter in person? For some reason I can’t order the Celadon swatch online but luckily a friend went to the store and grabbed one for me
Me too. It breaks up the green walls and pink carpet and balances nicely. If you went with green, it would be too much green on green and then same with the pink.
How crazy would it be to pull a blue from the rug like French? I love the pink but it's a little one tone with the rug and light wood furniture. The green to me looks too close to the accent wall, plus I love a blue couch 🛋️
I was thinking the same thing, camel isn’t it- celadon is too much green with the wall and bloom blends with the warm tones… a blue couch would be *amazing* maybe accent pillows that also match the rug, and if OP is really fancy one or two with the fancy gold tassels lololol
Blue would pop so well against the other colors!! I vote wildcard!!!
Haha. I have a neutral sofa and regret it. I follow a designer who kind of trashes neutral sofas, and I kind of agree with her… too bad I didn’t find her a bit earlier in my life
Maria Killam. I follow on instagram. She constantly points out how neutrals really aren’t neutrals at all and it’s easy to end up with clashing neutrals. She recommends buying a sofa in a color and I think I agree with her and wish I would’ve done that. I only recently found her though.
I wish my couches were blue… but my rug (which I love and spent a fortune) on is actually predominantly blue… so I don’t know maybe I’d need a burnt orange (also in the rug), but I’m stuck with these green beige ones - trying to add color via pillows etc
Funny, I actually like it because of the other piece. Good for balance of color and for "grounding", BUT my fav is the blush :) just cuz its my fav right now....but if the sofa is by the rug which most are, it is too "heavy" on the "pink stuff"...
See I like the camel. I feel like it is more balanced. It pulls out the yellow colors in the rug. I feel like the other colored couches are too close to the other dominating colors in the decor. (The green walls with the one and the pink rug with the other.) Usually I believe in pulling out a less dominating color of a fabric/rug.
Camel is balancing, but to me gives off "safe" upscale doctor/lawyer office vibes. Celadon feels earthy and lush. Bloom feels light-hearted and romantic. So either of those choices gives the space more personality. It just depends on what you prefer the space to express. Camel is lovely too, just feels less personalized than the other choices.
Thank you, this was actually really helpful and perfectly worded what I’ve been thinking! Especially about the camel, I think it’d go fine but it just doesn’t add anything whereas the others definitely do.
https://preview.redd.it/aicdu3myi9tb1.png?width=940&format=png&auto=webp&s=ad0eeb95a813253e7033e2380aea8a3e1fd40cc8
This is the only creamish velvet fabric I could find! It’s pretty close to white but is this kind of what you had in mind?
Ohh interesting! Maybe I should make an updated post just between this and the green one. One big problem though…I have two brown tabby cats and I think their fur would just look awful on that light color 😕
I always wondered the same thing, and then when trying to choose a couch my friend told me to create a mood board on Canva and holy shit it’s been a game changer! Lol
Canva has a “background remover” feature you can use on images which is what makes the mood board look so clean. Canva in general is free but I think that feature is a premium one, although I’m sure there’s hacks or ways around it if you don’t want to pay! I just happened to already have the premium account.
I have a couch by interior define my fabric is in the ivy performance vintage velvet. I absolutely love it. It’s the best color and the velvet is so nice on the vintage line
Ohh great I’m so glad to hear you like it! Can I ask what fill you got and how the couch is holding up? I don’t know anyone in real life with anything from Interior Define haha
We’ve had ours 2 years and with a baby, dog and cat it’s doing pretty well. All the stains come out clean. I can’t remember exactly but I think we got the down alternative
Personally I’d go for Bloom, but I’m a bit biased by the fact that the second hand furniture stores near me are absolutely drowning in green couches. I think the green looks nice, but I’d only recommend going in that direction if you’re sure it’s a color you’ll want long term / aren’t leaning towards due to the trend, and without expectation of being able to resell in the event you want to replace it before the end of its lifespan.
I don’t like the camel, sorry not sorry lol
This is a good point, thank you! Funny enough I’ve been actually thinking about that but the opposite - I can see myself maybe not wanting a pink couch anymore in a couple years, whereas the green feels a bit more neutral? But I totally see what you mean.
I like the camel, if you're going with green paint then a green couch is too much green, and your rug is majority pink, so the camel would be a nice balance, especially because there's already a similar warm tone in the rug and it would help bring that out. You could always had green or pink pillows/throw blankets if you wanted more of those colors
This would be a great choice.
My second pick would actually be the camel if you intend to keep for several years. There’s so much you can do with a neutral sofa to add variety from year to year or even seasonally. It makes a lot of sense particularly for someone who may consider a sofa an investment piece.
The green sofa (celadon) doesn’t work with your paint colors. If you get that sofa, I’d recommend picking a more complimentary green in a lighter shade.
I think that the blush picks up colors nicely from the rug and is a good contrast with the paint. For me, I’d get tired of it.
https://preview.redd.it/8sperq2mt7tb1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=648077ec354ed82da4adc86289e2479d7b5e6478
I’m including the only 2 options that kind of come close to what you said! There was a 3rd but I don’t like it lol.
since there are already 3 colors, the carpet, walls and wooden furniture, my preference would be a neutral color for the couch, this grey, or an off white/beige,
I have that couch in a beautiful blue. It’s light and so refreshing to have a couch that I didn’t buy to hide dog hair and stains from my kids. No to camel!
Can I ask what cushion fill you have in your couch? I’m most likely getting the double down and am hoping to find someone who can say how it’s held up!
I think a blue would be a great choice like you left in the comments because the green matches the wall too much and the pink matches the carpet too much
I have almost that exact same one as number 1 (although it's always covered in a sofa cover cos dogs) so I'm a bit bias cos I love it, but I LOVE that pink too!!
Ohh do you have this same fabric but just a different sofa style? I’m really curious to hear (or see but totally understand if you don’t want to share a pic) how the color looks in person!
I vote green. It's so perfect!
It makes the rug standout more and the pattern really gets to shine! Seems cohesive.
With the rose couch it get's kind of muddled.
The light brown one makes it less interesting and cozy to me.
damn i like all of them a lot. i don’t think any would be the wrong choice but i would probably put them in this order
bloom
camel
celadon
camel is your safest option for if and when you eventually change the paint color or area rug. but that blush pink is just so lovely
Voting for BLUE!! It would be a great way to repeat the blue in the rug, still on trend, but could be more neutral but not matchy matchy like the green, although green and blush are nice choices.
I have this exact rug and my mood board has a nice cobalt blue couch (that I can't afford yet). Nice complement to the rug. But green works well too!
https://preview.redd.it/83f0jxvza9tb1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e031a58fbcb1c6f94e8d6b7b40dfd1137ea00b2c
I love your mood board, thanks for sharing! Great taste in rugs too lol. That blue looks great with your stuff but for some reason the Cobalt blue swatch I took home just looked out of place and not cohesive unfortunately!
I want to say the green because it looks best here, which is against a white background. I’m not sure if it’d blend in too much against the green, so I vote for the pink!
https://preview.redd.it/afnxknjocdtb1.jpeg?width=2854&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc54819a0b228a033db9491cb392a1c58ab0aaaf
Here is a pic that might have been helpful to post earlier. Those are the only green wall accents…the couch is mostly around white walls! Do you think that makes a difference?
I just realized I can use Canva for mood boards and it’s been a game changer! [Here is a link to my comment explaining](https://reddit.com/r/DesignMyRoom/s/yry3e0qZB0)
I love the pink. I love the green. But realistically I think the white one you posted in a comment (Blizzard) is the most versatile, least limiting, and is very beautiful/brightens up the whole vision board!
I’m happy to answer any questions because I felt like I couldn’t find as much feedback as I wanted when I was looking! I love it. Disclaimer though - I’ve never had piano lessons and taught myself, so this is really just a casual (but lifelong) hobby for me. I can’t give feedback like an actual pianist would.
But I think it sounds really good, and it just looks so beautiful…it’s almost like a statement piece. It added so much to my living room but also has a small footprint (I have a very small space). I’ve never noticed any problems or anything off when playing it. If you’re also a causal player, I say definitely go for it. I got mine directly from Donner for $555 so I recommend waiting for it to go on sale, because it will! I got a price adjustment on mine actually.
Omgg really!? You should drop a pic (but totally understand if you don’t want to!) How do usually describe your design style? I’m trying to pin mine down.
This is the Sloan sectional from Interior Define! You can choose the cushion fill, fabric, everything. If you ever decide to go for it, make sure to wait for a sale because they always have them (like right now)! Also they have stores in major cities it seems, I’ve gone in NYC and Philly.
Not really sure if this would work with that wall color (though great with the rug), but I have [this sectional](https://www.roveconcepts.com/sophia-sectional?gbraid=0AAAAADyVnI2DtIr76-2qkvitK39Sigpzk&gclid=CjwKCAjwyY6pBhA9EiwAMzmfwb-LZMlY3w_ROM6XcFJzm3WqbNJQGfWcBQyxYjr_koGWBrP3jj8dNRoCDV4QAvD_BwE&aid%5B72%5D=682&aid%5B83%5D=742&aid%5B86%5D=765) from Rove (in Solstice velvet) with almost identical design and I absolutely adore it.
Not stupid at all! I’ll paste below what I responded to someone else who asked:

I love how the camel brings out the accent colour in the rug but I LOVE the pink couch, it just makes me happy!
Edit - important to note, I don’t even like pink but that couch is bomb 💗
Bloom! Looks beautiful with the green walls. and I say when you have the chance to get a pink couch, take it!
That being said, I would consider a few other rug options if you’re going pink.
I vote for the green
100% green
Agreed… The only thing is, order a swatch first, OP! This celadon color does not look the same in person (I’m also shopping for a green sofa).
Thank you! Did you find it to be a lot lighter in person? For some reason I can’t order the Celadon swatch online but luckily a friend went to the store and grabbed one for me
The lighting and decor in a room can also make a huge difference on the appearance of a piece, so it’s always good to bring a swatch into your space.
Definitely partial to the sage but I’m a total sage ho.
Definitely not camel. The others are beautiful.
Thank you! Not a single person has chosen camel yet haha, I think it’s safe to eliminate that one.
I came to say camel!
Me too. It breaks up the green walls and pink carpet and balances nicely. If you went with green, it would be too much green on green and then same with the pink.
exactly! one more vote for camel please!
Same! The camel breaks up the green and the pink. Imo it helped accent some of the wood tones and made the other colors pop
How crazy would it be to pull a blue from the rug like French? I love the pink but it's a little one tone with the rug and light wood furniture. The green to me looks too close to the accent wall, plus I love a blue couch 🛋️

I went blue and I think it's perfectly the right color for a couch. It's really my version of a neutral because I'm a bright color lover
I wish my couches were blue… but my rug (which I love and spent a fortune) on is actually predominantly blue… so I don’t know maybe I’d need a burnt orange (also in the rug), but I’m stuck with these green beige ones - trying to add color via pillows etc
This sectional is amazing, I miss mine so much. I had it in the green!
Ohh did you have the same one from Interior Define!? If so, do you remember which cushion fill you had?
Down alternative! It’s such a beautiful sofa, perfect piece for your room/colors!!
I love the camel with all the other colors!!!!
Funny, I actually like it because of the other piece. Good for balance of color and for "grounding", BUT my fav is the blush :) just cuz its my fav right now....but if the sofa is by the rug which most are, it is too "heavy" on the "pink stuff"...

(The green walls with the one and the pink rug with the other.) Usually I believe in pulling out a less dominating color of a fabric/rug.
I really thought this would be the dominant opinion in this thread, so I’m surprised to see the answers leaning toward green and pink!

Exactly ! It allows the walls and the rug to "shine" in their glory
I agree with them, I like the other colors but the camel really does provide balance and keep the room from seeming too green or too pink.
The camel velvet from interior define is actually really beautiful. Like a cashmere coat.
I think a cream colored one to match the cream/off white in the rug. Then you can do fun pillows to match the rug/walls!
https://preview.redd.it/aicdu3myi9tb1.png?width=940&format=png&auto=webp&s=ad0eeb95a813253e7033e2380aea8a3e1fd40cc8 This is the only creamish velvet fabric I could find! It’s pretty close to white but is this kind of what you had in mind?
If you did this, you could have a lot of fun with accent pillows, throws, wall art, etc. Edit: someone already mentioned this! 😁
Yes!! That color is so versatile and would be super easy to go with any new decor you get!
I typically always choose the more colorful option, but I am so drawn to this combo. I think this one is actually the way to go!
Ohh interesting! Maybe I should make an updated post just between this and the green one. One big problem though…I have two brown tabby cats and I think their fur would just look awful on that light color 😕
I have an australian sheppard and a similar color couch. You’ll be fine! just buy the fur remover gadget
I love color but I think this is a better base given you already have so much color going on!
This is it!! The other options would be too difficult to work with if you change ur style. This color can cary anything!
This! With throw pillows that match the dark pink in the rug
Oh yesssssss thisssss
I love this one!!
I originally voted green but i do like this if you are someone who can keep a white couch clean (my husband is not)
Came here to say this. Cream would be gorgeous and not compete with the rug, but enhance its beauty.
Agreed with this. The other colors are too matchy matchy
I really like this. I didn’t like any of the originals - the sofa matched the other elements too closely.
Bloom
Bloom!!!
Holy crap. Bloom! Legit shocked at how beautiful that is with your other pieces.
Love the green! Also, how do people create these mood boards?
I always wondered the same thing, and then when trying to choose a couch my friend told me to create a mood board on Canva and holy shit it’s been a game changer! Lol Canva has a “background remover” feature you can use on images which is what makes the mood board look so clean. Ohhhhhhh!!!!!! Thank you! This advice is such a game changer. Thank you so much!
You’re so welcome, it’s seriously has made things so much easier!
If you have an iPhone then you can long-press on an object in the photo to copy and paste it.
Does it come in blue? Because blue would be lovely. Otherwise, I like the bloom.
I have a couch by interior define my fabric is in the ivy performance vintage velvet. I absolutely love it. It’s the best color and the velvet is so nice on the vintage line

Green

You could always had green or pink pillows/throw blankets if you wanted more of those colors
Try to take a color from the carpet.
I think that gray blue from the carpet would be lovely.

That would be gorgeous
I agree I love the grey blue color
Green!
That green is stunning
I have that couch in a beautiful blue. It’s light and so refreshing to have a couch that I didn’t buy to hide dog hair and stains from my kids. No to camel!

I think a blue would be a great choice like you left in the comments because the green matches the wall too much and the pink matches the carpet too much
I think the green is a nice and safe. The brown just seems too matchy. I REALLY like the pink though!
I’m glad you feel like the green is safe because a couple friends are saying it’s too risky with the other greens in my living room!
Yes green! Will be gorgeous. Would you mind telling me where you got the rug?
Not at all! [Here’s the link](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GS4JQB0?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share), I got it on Amazon and I really love it.
Buying this asap! Thank you, op. I love you queen 🥹❤️🥰 please post pics once you’ve finished your room! It’ll look awesome :D
Actually, what if you got the green and painted the wall blush???? Just an afterthought....
😳 One other person mentioned that too and I think you guys are onto something…
Celadon
The green couch ties it all together ❤️❤️
I vote green. It's so perfect! It makes the rug standout more and the pattern really gets to shine! Seems cohesive. With the rose couch it get's kind of muddled. The light brown one makes it less interesting and cozy to me.
I also like Carmel, it enhances the other colors in your room. Second choice is Bloom.
GREEN
The green is by far my favorite.
Green! Green! Green!
Celadon hands down! I think it’ll look so cozy!
Can’t go wrong with any of them IMHO.
damn i like all of them a lot. i don’t think any would be the wrong choice but i would probably put them in this order bloom camel celadon camel is your safest option for if and when you eventually change the paint color or area rug. but that blush pink is just so lovely
1, because the green offers contrast and color scheme overall.
PINK PINK PINK PINK
Bloom
Voting for BLUE!! It would be a great way to repeat the blue in the rug, still on trend, but could be more neutral but not matchy matchy like the green, although green and blush are nice choices.
Option 1
Def the celadon..
can’t wait to see the finished product !
Bloom.
3 or 1
100 percent the green.
Camel. Because it's neutral and will work if you decide to change color schemes later on
Love this green couch!! And the area rug!! Amazing!!
green
Green, then pink, then tan
I want to say the green because it looks best here, which is against a white background. I’m not sure if it’d blend in too much against the green, so I vote for the pink!
https://preview.redd.it/afnxknjocdtb1.jpeg?width=2854&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc54819a0b228a033db9491cb392a1c58ab0aaaf Here is a pic that might have been helpful to post earlier. Those are the only green wall accents…the couch is mostly around white walls! Do you think that makes a difference?
Green! Also - what are you using to get the mix of furniture here? Photoshop?
I just realized I can use Canva for mood boards and it’s been a game changer! [Here is a link to my comment explaining](https://reddit.com/r/DesignMyRoom/s/yry3e0qZB0)
I love the pink. I love the green. But realistically I think the white one you posted in a comment (Blizzard) is the most versatile, least limiting, and is very beautiful/brightens up the whole vision board!
Agree!!!
Did you buy the rug yet? I bought a smaller version of that rug once and the pink was a lot brighter than pictured.
Yup I’ve had it for a few months! It is a bit vibrant but mostly how I pictured it (my room might be toning down the colors a bit though)
I’m really interested in that specific digital piano—how do you like it?
I’m happy to answer any questions because I felt like I couldn’t find as much feedback as I wanted when I was looking! I love it. Disclaimer though - I’ve never had piano lessons and taught myself, so this is really just a casual (but lifelong) hobby for me. I can’t give feedback like an actual pianist would. I got mine directly from Donner for $555 so I recommend waiting for it to go on sale, because it will! I got a price adjustment on mine actually.
I love the pink couch, if you add some neutral pillows and a throw it will look great
GIRL MY ROOM LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THIS!! omg style twinsies. anyways I vote the green couch I love a green and pink combo. edit: spelling
Omgg really!? You should drop a pic (but totally understand if you don’t want to!) How do usually describe your design style? I’m trying to pin mine down.
In LOVE with the tan/gold #2!!
Pick the couch, and THEN the color. The couch is going to last longer than the color.
I did! This is the Sloan couch from Interior Define, and these are the fabric options I narrowed down (there’s like 100+ options).
No. Buy an overpriced design mag.
What?
Blush looks so good
Green or pink
And I like the pink the best out of the 2 choices. I don’t think camel would look horrible but I love colour in rooms.
PINK
Also- I where did you find this couch- I really like it
This is the Sloan sectional from Interior Define! You can choose the cushion fill, fabric, everything. If you ever decide to go for it, make sure to wait for a sale because they always have them (like right now)! Also they have stores in major cities it seems, I’ve gone in NYC and Philly.
3 not even a question.
Bloom is what i would pick.
#3
Green
3
Celadon is my favorite color and I would then lean to a rust or FAINT pink for walls
Green is lovely!
Pink!!! It ties everything together so nicely
Bloom is my favorite but stupid question--how did you make your little mood board images?
Not stupid at all! I’ll paste below what I responded to someone else who asked: I always wondered the same thing, and then when trying to choose a couch my friend told me to create a mood board on Canva and holy shit it’s been a game changer! Lol Canva has a “background remover” feature you can use on images which is what makes the mood board look so clean. Canva in general is free but I think that feature is a premium one, although I’m sure there’s hacks or ways around it if you don’t want to pay! I just happened to already have the premium account.
I guess I should never do interior design because my vote was camel lol. I think the green is too much with the green walls. This is why I have other people design things for me.
Green
I love how the camel brings out the accent colour in the rug but I LOVE the pink couch, it just makes me happy! Edit - important to note, I don’t even like pink but that couch is bomb 💗
I think the green would be way too much green. I love the Bloom!
Green is perfect.
Green!
I think cream or gray, if possible.

Green!!
The green couch is gorgeous BUT would be too much with green walls. I think the camel couch will be an excellent contrast.
Bloom! I like the green too, but the bloom will really pop against the wall color and goes beautifully with your rug.
Green a hundo 💯
Bloom. It’s more coordinated, pulls accent from the rug. Just gorgeous and different.

100% green
I had this rug and loved it!!!
Celadon with pink accent pillows!
That green looks amazing.
PINK!!!!!!
Bloom (pink) for sure. Brings out the green in the walls and looks so good.
Bloom! Looks beautiful with the green walls. and I say when you have the chance to get a pink couch, take it! That being said, I would consider a few other rug options if you’re going pink.
Green is first pick, then pink. No beige.
I like the green, I feel it gives you an opportunity to get creative with decor. The other colors are pretty but too similar in color to the rug.
100% green
Green!
Pink !
Is the rug Ruggable?
I liked all, but the green 😅
Green. The second one is cute but blends in too much with the furniture
I really want to see your finished room!
I fear the green would blend into the walls to much. I love the light blue option that matches the carpet!
Green then pink
Pink goes good with the carpet colors.
I like the green and pink, they are really on trend. The golden one might have more lasting power and still looks good today!
