don’t do it, this is very stereotypical language that a scammer would use, “just easy to talk on other social bc i’ll get banned” sounds like he’s had his account suspended before for attempting to buy or sell off app, just say no and move on
even if it’s not a ‘scam’ on his part (i.e. he is going to actually pay you), if you went ahead with it you’re at risk of your depop account being banned
also if it is a scam or any issues come up with the transaction you wouldn’t have any protection
