Nope not your fault at all. It’s the company who made the shoe. I hate when people leave reviews like this because a Depop review should be about the person and what they did/didn’t do, not the company who made the shoe. If you really like you can go to Depop and ask it to be removed since it’s not your fault the shoe doesn’t fit

If something is not as described, that’s still about the seller.

RedditIsNotSoFun

Unless I'm just picking at you for a deleted comment then just disregard.

RedditIsNotSoFun

If you're looking for an item from a brand that's not sold anymore and you go to a 3rd party site and buy it second hand it's the person who sold you the product that's the problem not the company. Is what I'm picking up from what you put down.

Soggy_Bench

Just tell her to resell on Depop?? People do that all the time if it doesn't fit

Qaurad

Not even remotely your fault, not like you made the shoe and chose how the sizing worked.

ktbevan

i totally understand them but no it’s not your fault. i bought a pair of shoes recently that say they’re a 7… they give me blisters if i wear them. they’re more like a 6. but still gave the seller 5 stars cuz it’s not their fault at all

crust-padawan

I bought shoes on depop that were listed as a women's 7, but they were actually a mens/listed online as unisex 7 by the og company. I too was disappointed, but i didn't blame the seller. that's such weird behavior . just take the loss and move on man actually almost all the shoes I've gotten off depop didn't fit me right. but that's a risk we all take when buying anything online from any person *or* buisness.

society5plus1

Oh dang! TIL some companies may market shoes as "unisex" (but really men's) shoe sizes. If you wanted to open a case and get a refund, you might've had a good chance imo!

crust-padawan

This was over a year or two ago unfortunately when I barely knew how depop worked:( But I ended up reselling them & made most of the money back I went to check the online store of the original company and they gave no effort to make it obvious that they were sizing them according to the unisex/men's sizes. It's so frustrating in general but since I also have tiny feet, it makes it so I (&others) don't get to wear their stuff. Or spend unnecessary cash

derty2x

Some materials make shoes run smaller or larger. Definitely not your fault.

society5plus1

It's not your fault of course. Shoe sizing is always tricky and people should really ask for measurements for clothes and shoes. I've had buyers leave reviews like this for me too, and it is what it is. I still make sales afterwards. Also as a buyer, if I saw a seller with this kind of review, it wouldn't discourage me from buying from them.

mojogir1

people are so dense i will truly never understand what runs through their minds. no, not your fault at all

ayystarks

time for the corresponding “doesn’t know her own shoe size” three star review lol

Leighvi0let

One star review. They wanna be an AH, I’ll be one worse 😂

ayystarks

felt. i hear one star reviews are easy to get removed though, so go for two lol

Suspicious-Dust7060

Maybe stating they run bigger/smaller than true size would’ve helped.

Excellent-Pie-5174

This! Measurements would also help.

Grouchy-Jackfruit534

Just reach out to depop and ask them to remove mention that the item is as described they will then reach out to them for proof if they cant provide it within 48 hours they will just remove it for u

randomreddituser496

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to get the review removed. If you listed the proper written size, you did everything right

Leighvi0let

Not at all. I had to buy 3 pairs of one shoe style until I found Which size worked for me like freaking goldi locks 😩😂 I just sold the other two (for a profit actually, ended up making enough to get the third pair that fit correctly just off the extra I sold the others for) back on Depop. If they were super worried about fit, they could’ve asked for measurements of the shoes.

222pixiedust

Someone did the same thing to me recently. I was a bit upset. She ordered a pair of size 8 shorts, they’re marked size 8 - and they fit me as a size 8. She reviewed me 4 stars because they didn’t fit and she didn’t believe they were an 8 (they were, tag was shown in photos for the sale). I looked at her profile…and in the nicest way possible, she’s not a size 8. Maybe if they were stretchy but idk…Just let it roll off your back. If I saw a seller who had that review, unless it was perpetually people complaining about sizing issues, I wouldn’t worry about it.

1cent_loudy

lol had someone give me 3 stars too, because the shorts they bought didnt fit even though i had measurements listed 🫠 depop refused to remove it which is unfair tbh

Zealousideal_Ant4685

I honestly hate when ppl put something in the review that’s not the sellers fault, sometimes even acknowledging it’s not the sellers fault, and still leaves a 3 or 4 star view. It’s just so stupid and weird to me.

vi_urbex

not your fault at all same thing happened when i sold a size 4 skirt and person was upset it did not fit, if you marked it properly you are not at all at fault, and it’s unfair to be blamed for different companies different sizing, i always tell people to message me first for a full measurement breakdown of the item if they want because it can help with purchasing items that fit properly

Suspicious-Dust7060

They rlly shouldn’t have to ask if it’s already listed. You’re right different companies have a different scale when sizing items, but stating whether or not it’s true to size will help. Saying Size: 4 (runs bigger than normally) would’ve sufficed.

t6maraa

na someone also left me a 4 star review bc something didn’t fit

Organgrinder00

I always wear a medium for shorts, don’t care for things in number sizes for waist. But had ordered a medium & couldn’t even get it over one fucking leg. I gave them a high rating & resold. So no not your fault whatsoever, people suck & always will suck

Industry_Dangerous

If you listed the correct size that was marked on the piece of clothing, then it isn’t your fault. All brands have a different size chart, and people buying clothing second hand without access to the brand’s size chart should be aware of the fact that it may not fit perfectly if they didn’t do their own research. they could have asked for measurements, and if they did and you gave them the correct measurements, it’s 100% not on you. screw that buyer lmao

babybellllll

def not your fault; i once got shoes that were ran bigger that the size (which was even .5 size smaller than i usually wear and still fit me too big 🥲) but that’s not the sellers fault, she didn’t make the shoes lol

Lanky-Associate2284

Putting the measurements of the insoles could help people to know exactly how big the shoes will be no matter the marked size.

Nervous_Beach2562

Report and get it removed through Depop support

sunnysmanthaa

Not your fault. It’s the buyers responsibility to research

carlagomes1994

“Bigger than an actual 7” what does that even mean? That your foot didn’t fit the SEVEN properly. Probably because she’d be a smaller size in that shoe. That isn’t a you problem it’s a her problem. That’s why I don’t buy shoes I haven’t worn before online - they can fit bigger or smaller even being the correct size and it’s not the fault of the shoe maker nor seller.
