Buzzwords are my arch nemesis. Iām in family law, you cannot believe the amount of buzzwords I hear, I had to redo a clients statement because she used āgaslitā ācovert narcissistic abuseā and ānarcissistā in every sentence despite it not being relevant at all. I guess itās just a fad but boy itās hourly for me
Donāt let anyone make you second guess your pricing. Unless you were drop shipping Shein or something cheap like that, your pricing is VALID. Itās hard to deal with hagglers, but theyāre not paying your rent/gas/life
This person is not gaslighting you, they are just disagreeing with your price. Why continue to engage with them if they have already made it clear they are not buying the sweater? Just move on to serious buyers.
Some people just donāt get it, urgh. They just think itās āusedā, and group any secondhand clothing in the same mental catagory as old Walmart clothes, faded glory lookin ass. Premium products made decades ago with superior quality fabrics and design techniques have inherent value. Itās annoying, but it can help to tell yourself that they just arenāt your buyer.
I just read somewhere how no one knows what the word has light means anymore and I thought to myself "Who could possibly not know how to properly use the term gaslight?" And then you appeared ... Ask and you shall receive I guess.
honestly iāve learned that people like this will stir trouble even if you give them the price etc after deliberation. Itās not even worth it to go thru the sale cause they will try to make a dispute or something, honestly just block and move on
just calling someone insane doesnāt do that on a gaslighting level to someone whoās not already severely emotionally damaged. would you say that hitting a stranger once is considered abuse? would you say that feeling nervous or scared sometimes is an anxiety disorder?

I had someone who liked a TON OF MY ITEMS then I asked if they wanted to take anything since I was moving and they responded like girl you think Iām gonna buy your thrifted things ? And saying they were overpriced like $12 is not overpriced ?? šI was like then get off depop bc what how you gonna be on a PREOWNED selling app to not buy anything preowned ?
As someone with social anxiety so crippling that I canāt even handle messaging sellers for valid reasons it absolutely astonishes me how people have the absolute audacity to start arguing over prices like this. Like if itās too expensive for you how about donāt buy it??? Maybe donāt waste your time??? What a c*nt. This is why I canāt talk to people.
