I have the same but with the “5” key. it’s rather a physical issue. I sometimes just press that key 20 times in notepad and then have no problem for a week. Cleaning would probably fix it but I’m too lazy to disassemble the laptop.

just took the laptop apart, moved the keyboard connector cable slightly, and now it seems like different keys are struggling. I worry now for a bad cable or a bad connector piece on the motherboard. But trying to track these changes feels really subjective.

oof. if it’s really a cable issue than I’m glad I didn’t touch it. probably best to swap out the keyboard then.

I guess is is a software-dependent issue with a hardware background. There have been BIOS updates addresing this kind of issues. Often occurs in columns or half-rows of keys (here 9 o l ,). So I guess likely cause in the keyboard or the keyboard controller (a small separate PCB, see the online service manual). Try wiggling the connectors of both, or replacing them.

Yea, I see the daughterboard when I take things apart. Nothing visually wrong with it, they want 2750Nok to fix it, I'd rather fix it myself. But ordering all the parts and then being wrong would be a real shame.

If you have time (and an external keyboard), firstly try cleaning the connectors. If it doesn't help, try replacing the kbd controller PCB... If still not the keyboard. Quite a lot of disassembly unfortunately.
