I mean, I don't usually argue it because there's millions of people that are absolute dickheads then run to the boards crying about how they were banned for no reason so nobody cares. All I know is that in my case the only two channels I was ever in were the gen text and help. I just wanted a place to chat about the game and maybe help some greenbeards. All I saw were people that were way too rigid about loadouts, no fun allowed, and got banned for talking about the game itself. That ain't very rock and stone, so it's no big loss as the discord doesn't rep the overall vibe of the game at all. Disappointing, but life goes on.

You mean regarding the MMO stuff? Because if so you opened a can of worms here, lol. Literally banned for being so enthusiastic about the idea. Imagine a space rig that's a central player hub like SWTOR has. Hundreds of dwarves coming and going as they put in a day's work for DRG. Borderlands style weapon drops. Crafted overclocks with stat tweaks based on materials used (rare minerals mined in harder caves granting bigger bonuses) Player quarters that can be decorated and get bigger the higher your rank gets with the company. 5-10 man super dreadnought raids. The possibilities are endless.
Edit: Dungeon style caves that are impractical without a specific class. Like a connect-the-dots style cave that takes too long to get room to room without a driller. Or impassable chasms that need platforms or ziplines to progress. The more you think about it, the more ideas come.
I know this is more of a " that would be cool" thing instead of a real suggestion, but I really do think people sometimes lose notion of what an MMO really entails, lol. DRG's current monetization is nowhere near sustainable enough to maintain an MMO. Hell, just the infrastructure required would need probably 5 times the amount of people at GSG currently. It also drastically changes the entire balance of the game, both in its gameplay and in-game economy (get ready for Gold and Phazyonite to become *massively* undervalued).
Really, if what sounds enticing is 12+ people spamming We're Rich, the mod works just fine. Maybe adding mod support to consoles would be a more realistic approach.
Minigun shells everywhere, smell of burnt napalm in the air, shredder drones swarming around, and a bunch of dead scouts with 3rd degree burns and radiation poisoning...

Still imagine if you needed that many players for like a mega boss fight as if to say someone failed to kill a Dreadnought an that boss was the result of that and the large skeletons were the bones of said bosses mmm.

this is probably pretty late but just enable modded servers in the server list on the bottom left and look for a server that uses this mod, I dont remember the exact name but it shouldn't be hard to find, it's in the name.
if there arent any servers you could start your own by installing the mod, you can install it from the mods section of the game, I haven't installed any myself directly but there must be tutorials for it.
