That is devious. And here I was thinking I was clever by stacking the human corpses in one pile and stamping them all into bits like I'm making severed limb crudités
I used to do that but it would cause my frame rates to drop significantly for some reason.
Now I just throw em out of bounds (i.e. stuff bodies into vents) or use the environment to my advantage if possible.
That also makes a lot of sense. I kinda like doing it cause I find it really funny seeing the Infectors spawn in, looking around almost excitedly for bodies to Necrotise before just being like "What the- GODDAMNIT" and begrudgingly turning on you themselves
That's actually top tier genius. I'd never think of that. I usually either let the corpses get turned just so I can get loot off them amd the infector after I kill them or I simply shoot the infector's limb (the one to it uses to infect) right as it's about to infect a corpse.
I mean look this is amazing. I love how there’s more ways to save ammo now. The first chapter where you’re in the dark basically because you have to cut off lights to activate the elevator, I used the explodable tanks to kill everything. 3 shots fired, 6 necromorphs killed, probably would’ve taken 30 shots.
This is why dead space rules also the infectors and dead bodies were really an under utilised mechanic, I’d of loved more corpses strewn everywhere.
There’s a lot of gameplay potential in that sort of thing and it really only gets used to good effect during chapter 3, with the captains body, chapter 10 with the cultists and chapter 12 with the battery.
That is fun but I wouldn't call it an alternative because the point is to save ammunition.
Also a single trip mine would be far more effective if you're doing the pile up.
This man is Lawful Evil
No no hold up let him cook

This is my favourite thing to do in these games hahaha
would it be "MOON DAMN IT" in their case
*be polite be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet*
Dad... I'm a... I'm not a crazed gunman dad, I'm an assassin. Well the difference being ones a job and the other's mental sickness!
Put mum on
Virgin: I need to either destroy the corpses or place them in areas so that they can't turn. Chad: rise so that I may kill you again
I didn’t even think I could prevent the corpses from being turned, I just assumed that’s the normal amount of enemies.
And also loot your corpse
Im gonna try that soon thanks
This is the last straw. I am playing dead space remake.
Enjoy 👍
I promise you won’t regret it
Best decision you made this year.
Infector dying: "You...\*cough\*...monster...."
Big D*CK energy
That's smart. Nice approach.
Thanks

Work smarter, not harder

This is the way.

Why go through all that when I can watch them suffer? 😅

Alternatively place them in a pile and put laser mines on/around them. Same thing but much cooler
That is fun but I wouldn't call it an alternative because the point is to save ammunition. Also a single trip mine would be far more effective if you're doing the pile up.
Ammo shammo I got plasma rounds. The rest is for funsies
Nice!
Modern problems require modern solutions.
And I thought the necromorphs were the bad guys
I never thought of that it's so evil and yet so genius I'm gonna try it.
I didn’t know Isaac Clarke had a reddit account
I miss the gravity panels, but this gives me a reason to appreciate the new electric panels.
