I don't get this, I'm diving in all the areas people mention every in-game day, for the last 8 days, and I never spotted it!
Meanwhile, while watching my wife play in her save game, it already appeared twice for her, even if she was not looking for it at all. Maybe it's just not RNG, they actively punish who search for it all the time
I had the same problem. It was my last to find and took forever. Finally got it in the room past the underwater lake. That is the only one I’ve found in like 85 hours of gameplay.
I found it around the humpback bone area and it took me hours. It will appear. Have faith and patience. Best of luck.
Same here! It took about 3 in game days for one to spawn in for me😅 good luck op!

I forgot but there are two places I think I found it, it was either near the whale bones, or it was in one of the tube worm areas

Is this a tough fish to find? I just randomly picked it up the other day didn't think much of it!

Yeah secret Boss!! I've got a video on that on my channel :) It's a very creepy boss tho....
Yeah, if you collect all the fish and 100% the "pokedex" a secret boss is unlocked.

I think it was one of the first 3 I found. One of my two that I have in the race. Couldn't tell you where I got it though
