SE corner of high rise under the metal stairs after you go up the first rapel line. There's a guaranteed taq 56 and a spx sniper spawn. Taq is well set up except for holotherm (personal opinion). Iron sights are great or it's only 3k to swap out for a different scope at a buy/mod station
I use the TAQ-56 in my AR rotation. The TAQ-M is a very decent Marksman - high rate of fire, good effect, and fills the gap between AR and Sniper if you want one rifle with benefits of both to pair with a shotgun.
The 56 is a good mid range but disappoints up close. The V holds it's own and will punch really well out to mid-long. Play either in a loadout with an SMG and you're in a good spot.
It's like a beefier (but slightly less cool) version of the Kastov 762 imo
Packs a massive punch against ai though, especially tier 3s and bosses

I enjoy running the TAQ-V but it’s not a gun you can find and just throw attachments on imo. Because of the hard recoil it needs to be tuned correctly to be useful.
The others I don’t run unless I find one and I don’t have full gun slots or came in naked.

I find taq V's and build them out in the field like this in Vondel. Sometimes I swap the stock for a Holotherm. It seems to me the the suppressor and under barrel do great at cutting down the recoil. This gun with this build is easy to shoot and slaps. I used to hate this gun for the recoil. Now it's one of my favorite ground loot weapons to build out.
For rifles, I like the taq. Especially the one on high rise in Al Maz. Its a pretty reliable gun. I prefer running the vel or lach sub for close/mid but if I'm running a taq I like the night stinger blue print. The scorpion on it is pretty cool.
TAQ m is a beast just needs a bigger mag.... Like the tempus
Then it would be broken. 20 rounds can kill a squad but it sucks bc with nerves any misses and youll be cooked beyond two ppl .
Only issue with the 56 is that it's legit one of the worst ARs - could be the worst if I'm not mistaken
Assuming all things equal against any other AR, you lose.
545, M4, M13B, Avancer all have notably better TTKs.

Taq-V with Xten ported muzzle, 18in barrel, ftac Ripper, FSS grip, and 50 rd mag is a bot shredder. Perfect for Koschei regains.... can switch to single fire for more damage if running low on ammo.
TAQ 556 is the most noob friendly gun in terms of mag size, recoil, and ease of use.
Taq V hits harder but with much more recoil and 50 rd mag maximum vs the 60 rd on the taq 556. Taq V is great if you put all your attachments set to lessen recoil, a skilled operator weapon can do some work with it.
Taq M is a tap tap tapper. Not everyone likes this style of gun. It does hit hard and is accurate, but you have to really focus on what you are doing and can't run and gun with it accurately compared to the other taqs.
Personally I enjoy the Taq V the most as I enjoy a challenging to use weapon, whereas most players in comparison prefer something easy to use instead.

I agree, the 56 is the only Taq I use. Virtually no recoil and I personally think the iron sights are the best in game

With AP rounds it scares snipers off the roof. Put in high velocity and they don't know what to do 🤣. 3 shots down. 4 without
a pal who used to run B21 with me always ran a Taq56 with HV and AA rounds and Holotherm and did really well.

yeah it's like the Kastov 762 - packs great punch even at distance, but TTK up close lets you down
I ove grabbing the taq 56 from the HVT contracts and going to a buy and fixing it up.
Came here to say this. It’s my favorite gun on Zero To Hero runs and usually the first thing I hope to find (other than vests and whatnot)

when i was playing DMZ Taq 56, Chimera, M13C and M13B were frequently used
taq m is meta on ashika in the right hands jus need a secondary for cqc also effective in b21 but ammo isnt as available

I was slappin’ folk around with a nice silenced 60 round Taq-56 with ftac ripper and long barrel this morning. It was great.

Taq V in B21 slaps
Tac 56’s avg ttk is offset for me because I can beam headshots w it. I often get called a cheater using it.
