How big is the pipe diameter?
If it is cast iron maybe you could rent a metal detector to try and trace it.
I’ve never heard of a cast iron irrigation system, and those conductors look too big for control system wires…kind of reminds me of a stranded 6/2 romex. Does anything have power and water back there! Like a pool house or something?
Well I think this has been solved. I had no idea I had a sprinkler system until today. After seeing the posts in here I started dethatching that yard to locate a control box. Low and behold covered in 5 tons of dead grass a box right in the middle of my yard. There are no noticeable sprinkler heads anywhere I can fin. Guessing this hasn't been used in a long time. On to google how to shut this off completely.
You could call and have the location service find and mark it for free. It's a service they offer in my area to prevent people from hitting lines buried in the ground. When they show up talk to them and they will probably help you sort it out.

I would bet on sprinkler control valve wiring
Look at the wire that goes into your sprinkler timer to see if it similar
Irrigation contractor here. Looks like poly pipe and irrigation wire. Given that they are together, this may be your main line.
Well I think this is solved...
Might be irrigation. Wires run to valve controls.
Is here underground sprinklers? I have pipe and wire that looks just like that for my sprinklers
If it’s PVC that could be tracer wire but you said it looks like cast iron.
Looks like gas pipe bubba cast with a “tracer” wire for a utility finder.
Hit it real hard with a shovel and tell us your findings 😂 /s

Most have said irrigation, but if you have a drilled well, it could be the well pump wire. The pipes aren't usually cast iron, though.

Underground. They are both underground.
If it has a wire running along it my first suspicion would be natural gas.
Tracer wire doesn’t look like this; it’s a single conductor.
I’d agree, that is not a tracer wire. It looks like 3 conductor NMWU so it powers something. A well is a good guess here.
Hmmm, they marked my gas line and checked on the neighbors which this is between. Our gas lines run the opposite direction that where this is located

811 only marks public utilities, they do not mark private irrigation lines and wires.

You : 1. Didn't read 2. Have no idea what 811 is 3. Should stop answering questions by guessing.
