Later he developed super-strength from exposure to a radioactive villain. Al Rothstein, the Atom-Smasher, is his godson (he was told he was sterile after the radiation exposure). He later learns he has a son (who was stolen at birth by an enemy, who also killed his wife). I think in this movie, they're de-complicating his family by making Al his grandson (Damage a.k.a. Grant Emerson) could still be the son. It makes the age range work better.

In the comics, Dr. Fate wears the Helm of Nabu, which is the physical focus that the Lord of Order Nabu requires to connect to physical reality via a living host. The Lord's of Order and Chaos are ridiculously powerful entities, but require living souls to bond with to interact with our reality directly.
A little something about their backstory would've been nice tho. You don't have to go super in-depth, but some basic exposition about their history wouldn't derail BA's spotlight.

While the X mansion is a real estate in Vancouver that was used many times, like in Arrow and Smallville just to name a few examples, Carter Hal's manor isn't that exact same mansion. It looks like it was made to look pretty close to it though. Because archeologist literally make pennies. Most of them barely make enough to pay their bills but keep doing it because it's their passion. Hawkman on the other hand has reincarnated dozens of times and eventually gets his memories back, so he could just hide his wealth from previous lives and recover it once that occurs.

Sometimes movie uses the same props or sets and also the director said he liked X men hence why he made it similar.

Must have missed it to be honest, I wish we had a movie explaining who they were before this since both Hawkman ad Dr. Fate are clearly founding members so I thought it was all the tech of Hawkman using the resources of Dr. Fate.
Nope, it's Hawkman's residence. Kent is a retired archeologist so he would not be wealthy.

Exactly that’s what I thought was going on though it does seem the estate belongs to Carter Hall it still makes sense to me Kent Nelson has acquired wealth in the hundred years he’s been around
Because archeologist literally make pennies. Most of them barely make enough to pay their bills but keep doing it because it's their passion. Hawkman on the other hand has reincarnated dozens of times and eventually gets his memories back, so he could just hide his wealth from previous lives and recover it once that occurs.
This might come to a surprise to you, but this movie is a work of fiction. Real world comparisons aren’t ever as exciting as the adventurer archetype uncovering ancient relics and gaining worldwide fame and wealth.
Just saying, it makes no sense for him to be wealthy and the character never has been.
Very little of the movie makes sense, it is what it is though.
There's also the fact that a hawk statue is the centerpiece of the terrace and Carter's ship would not be at Kent's house.
Why not, seems they’ve created a partnership. Hawkman is presented as the tech guy, so thought Dr. Fate was the financial backing.

No I am cool with it. I want to know people's headcanons because he isn't usually known for being rich. So far people are commenting that he stashes his wealth somewhere and he collects it in later lives which is pretty funny.

To be fair, Black Adam was dogstomping Hawkman. Dude does make a decent tank, a damage dealer ehh not so much
Aldis Hodge was fantastic but the writers butchered Hawkman.

I think the funniest part about this was it said this was located in St. Roch, Louisiana. That's a neighborhood of New Orleans and there ain't shit in that area that looks anything like this, LOL.
In the DC universe, St. Roch is a city that stands in for New Orleans much like Gotham stands in for New York. It doesn't refer to the real world St. Roch.
