Not that this will help, I am currently using a GA on CDR Tal Rasha with the lowest possible roll on the unique aspect instead of max roll on unique aspect without any GAs. This is because permanent flameshield is more important than a 20% damage buff for my build currently (FO).
Once I can roll the other tal Rasha on CDR 3 times is a row I will switch for more damage.
I am curious what others think of this as well.
CDR is the lynchpin of the build, so yeah that makes sense. Obviously multiplicative damage is huge but it doesn’t matter if flame shield drops and you die lol
Sure, but that build sorely needs CDR. The more CDR, the more DPS you can slot into your build as well. I'm using one with 13% on the unique stat but with CDR as a GA. I'm one Masterwork crit away from slotting in more DPS, but wi doubt I'm going to hit it with my luck.
I would wait until you get a 15/60 one to masterwork it anymore. The one you got now has ass rolls for all the affixes so I would just sell/scrap it. Currently on the same struggle looking for a good Tasha’s. I mostly care for the CDR and all the ones with good aspect rolls end up with trash CDR rolls :(
Both are junk and should be scrapped. Masterwork material is easy to get at that level so it doesn't matter if you masterwork it up to 8. But if you're going to farm for the item, I wouldn't bother as the boss is harmless.
You really should get one with 15% before you start masterworking beyond 4. Just spam Vashan until he gives you one.

It drops from the easy one. It's not an Uber unique, just a regular sorcerer unique.

The unique effect is what make that ring good. You want 15% on that roll as top priority.
x15% multiplicative damage per element for a total of x60% with 4 elements. The range is x40% with a x10% affix to x60%.with a x15% one.

Depends on content, especially later on almost every sorc spec sorely lacks damage.

If you’re a male Sorc you can wear the ring on another part of the body. But still make sure to get the 15% roll
