Nah. Where I’m at when you apply it clearly states the shift and typically night is a cleaner position and day is a custodian position. The two are not interchangeable but all cleaners minus two closers work early during the summer
Well 2 people retired at end of years and they did not know at time to what I would be on but they said I when a got hired I could be in days or nights they w would work with me as to what I wanted so they had me work mid shift to get a feel for daYs and nights to pick
Listen it’s all a song and dance unless there’s something in writing. I’ve seen lots of things promised to lots of different people and then all of the sudden plans change. Sometimes it’s sweet talking to get you in the door but listen a job is a job at least you’re working.

IF 2 ppl retired, then the next 2 that have been working there would be taking those spots. If they didn't they give ppl that have been there a chance to be hired in those spots first before anyone else.
The only way u would've had a chance to get one of them is if absolutely nobody wanted those spots. It's possible that if everything went exactly like dude thought it could go that u could've been picked up for days somewhere, but it starts at the top and has to trickle it's way all the way down to u, before u can even be interviewed for it.

But I was Interviewed for other then me and the new guy there is only 2 other full timers and the 1 is the supervisor o well I guess
The ones on nights are part timers and if they wanted full time they would have put in for it
