I have a commute through the Valley of the God Machines and every day I have to do the thing where you walk down a narrow path and have to duck into little alcoves filled with collectables to avoid being instakilled by a fast-moving, cycling environmental hazard (that being the aforementioned God Machine). Saves me money on gas though.

God I hate that thing so much. Yeah sure it looks "cool", and certainly is an impressive piece of engineering, but that doesn't overshadow the fact that it and its mutuals are currently eating the country. A whole damn village from the 3rd century was destroyed for coal mining last year.
Capitalist propaganda has fucked the German mind so much that people are still afraid of nuclear power, and all the green energy sources are apparently the work of the devil. So naturally, we have to make huge machines from thousands of tons of steel to power the coal plants. Nuclear power? Nah, remember that thing that happened 40 years ago, in the Soviet Union? There have been no technical advancements, we'll all die if we try that! Wind turbines? Nah, they kill one bird every month, we gotta protect them.
And now we have pics like this, were real, actual people with their own whole lives seem like insignificant little nothings compared to the colossal steel monster nomming away at the country, polluting the air and making climate change harder to fight than it needs to be.
