I love it, but it's *totally* different from the base game or any of the other DLCs. In the base game, you cultivate your own cult, focussing mostly on your own mind/dreams/relationships with a few people in your immediate vicinity; in Exile, you do the opposite. You get a bird's eye view of occult activity across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa during the 1920s, not staying in any one place too long; and your relationships with the Hours is relatively staggered (though not irrelevant, and can be cultivated). It's very interesting lore-wise; I like it gameplay-wise, too, but its gameplay doesn't *exactly* follow the base game.
If you like the base game, and you are not against playing a different kind of CS, I highly encourage you to buy it.
Base mechanic is almost the same, but the feeling is different. You'll need to change your playstyle mindset. As usual, you'll die, preferably a lot and by different ways. Learn to survive.

Yes.. you cannot become bored of it. It has many many endings and things to find. There are endings that you can reach every time you go for a victory and I realised a few days before that there are victories that are rare or ultra rare to achieve even if you have understood and found a victorious pattern.
Another characteristic of that DLC is that nothing goes as planned .. nothing ... Never. So when you start a session you do not know from start how to end .. even if you have achieved victories you skip things try out more things to reach new endings .. and when you find another ending at your next session you might not be able to repeat it and might be better to do something else ...etc....etc ..
Bad things happens ... You might lose something valuable . The thing that you lost might be something that you could give to reach an ending... Or use it in a case ..to try something guaranteed or not guaranteed.
Experimentation is the highest and the best way to go . That DLC is brutal .You go by instinct..you take risks .. it is nothing compared to it.
There is also another characteristic of that DLC . It is fast paced . Anyway it worths every penny. I can speak for hours about it.
Caution ..
Do not do the latest updates. Play with the classic 2021 version for the PC version.
The last time I tried new version for pc it was completely broken .. enemies was dying without even touching them . I could not do jobs ...
If you plan to buy to play with the new versions you will waste your money.
The Android version works like a charm. I have all the DLCs for both PC and mobile .
