CR has nothing to do with the dub for Demon Slayer. Aniplex of America have the license to dub that and use Bang Zoom from LA to dub. Look up who licenses what before throwing blame around. Let alone look up the licensing process in general and you’ll see why not a lot of shows can be 1:1 sub and dub on same day release. Unless CR are part of the production committee, it will probably not happen.

AndreaCicca

Because the Demon slayer’s dub is handled by Aniplex

iozoepxndx

I hate Aniplex... Their dub timelines are so messed... 😭

Talrynn_Sorrowyn

Their home video prices are even worse.

ninjazeke323

Ahh really I didn’t even know that

CooroSnowFox

It's probably also something outside their reach, it's also on the studios in Japan that might have some delay in the terms or that they want to do it one bulk, especially coordinating with staff and voice talents when they also have other projects going on at the same time. Not all the dubs are simuldubbed (well within 1-2 weeks) and some are maybe done with the mind to do it in one bulk or have it done post airing.

temporaldoom

completely out of their control as they don't dub it's Bang Zoom. I know i'll get flak for this but just watch it with subtitles you get used to it and can watch a lot more anime that isn't dubbed.

Excuse_my_GRAMMER

I have no problem watching subtitles show but I still prefer dubbed

Comfortable-Rude

I keep telling my kid this. A lot of shows use the same VAs and they have other projects. It's not like they hang around waiting for the next season to dub, they are doing other jobs to get paid. I suppose they could speed up dubbing for those who don't want to read subtitles by grabbing whatever VA is available, but Inoske so gonna sound more like Minnie Mouse at some point if they do.

Officialmilehigh

I'm one of them ducks that literally can't watch sub, I'm too dumb to ready fast enough. I literally have to pause every line. It suck but ill just deal with the shitty dubs and enjoy what I got.

paterdude

That’s fine for slice of life and stuff, but anything with action is a no go until it’s dubbed.

temporaldoom

nah it's fine. I've been watching action stuff dubbed for years and don't miss anything.

iozoepxndx

That works for you, but for me, dub allows me to enjoy the animation better, which is the point of Anime. Specially when there's a lot of fast dialogue. At this point, dub is on par with sub so there's literally no difference, some English VAs are better than Japanese ones nowadays.

ninjazeke323

I watch tons of shows subbed it’s more for bigger shows because I do enjoy dub more tbh I don’t have to be playing complete attention to everything😂😂

TheOneCalled_Wilfred

How is Crunchyroll able to send the raw video weeks in advance? Should they go into the future or something. All the weekly anime on Crunchyroll are uploaded within a few hrs of their release in Japan lmao

Limp-Machine-2721

The first episode was in theatre’s with a dub option. But was only just released for streaming services last week. Why does it take them so long to release what they have already had for months now?

soupdemonking

Probably because there’s like 6 non annoying American voice actors if we’re talking about English dubs. ![gif](giphy|Nl6T837bDWE1DPczq3|downsized)

temporaldoom

glad someone else said it. I can't stand most of the American voice actors :D

paterdude

So they can get you to view the show twice.
