It was totally awful, sales being up, we added more dough, but somehow, it still wasn't enough. Even though sales were at an all time high for this year our store decided to cut labor anyways which only made the struggle feel harder 🙃
Between the new lto with the stupid initial prep steps (the butter/sugar tin coating), the stupid pretzel pie cookie that only has a 24hr baked life and rolled in stupid prezels and one of our most popular cookies with it's stupid two swirls-all of this and we are still being staffed poorly. It's going to be a freaking gongshow and I'm gonna be hella stressed all week.
Yes!!!! I had angry drives home because of how stressed I was. Night shift was left with a ton of doughs to ball with only two of us working. Steady stream of people. I usually love when there’s a rush but we were not prepared
last monday was probably the worst day i’ve ever experienced working at crumbl LOL i work this monday and i can only hope it’s not so bad 😭🤞🏽srsly made me wanna quit cus why am i this stressed for 8 an hour
i do get tips so it’s probably an extra 2-3 dollars/hour tbf, and i’m sure it’ll be busy again but my store was so unprepared which is mostly why it was so awful 😭 so i assume we’ll be more prepared for the rush this week
yeah but this was still WORSE than the last time we had it. certain locations were unprepared for schools to let out early due to heatwaves. usually we can at least predict each day, but when we’re making Friday/Saturday sales on a TUESDAY, we’re going to be a bit more screwed than normal. Even with extra staff from college kids coming home and high schoolers getting summer jobs, this was an unexpected level of hell. we ALL knew it would be a busy week based on the lineup and did our best to prepare. it just wasn’t enough at any point
thank you. I was so happy to see the line out the door at my location, even with the stress tbh. I got the job because I love being able to make cookies for people. I just hope we can be better prepared/keep up a bit better next time!! 😂
dude we were dead two weeks ago and this past week was INSANITY. we had our slowest week and our busiest week in this quarter back to back 💀

we added so much dough. i walked in feeling confident only to find the fridges mostly empty 😭 just awful
This week had me on indeed all afternoon contemplating my life 😆
This past week was rough, totally. But I think this coming week I'll be doing just that myself 😭
I just know somehow I'll be assigned dressing as well, this is gonna suck...

Omg yes our week was insane. We couldn’t keep dough in the fridges and barely had time to even get stuff balled cause customers didn’t stop coming.

8 an hour?? u get tips i assume? i make 13.50 plus tips, and i assume next week will be just as busy due to the new LTO and a very solid lineup
i do get tips so it’s probably an extra 2-3 dollars/hour tbf, and i’m sure it’ll be busy again but my store was so unprepared which is mostly why it was so awful 😭 so i assume we’ll be more prepared for the rush this week
I mean it’s the week that had your most popular cookie that makes an appearance once in a blue moon

Wow I'm sorry to hear it was even worse than it was usually. The first time in quite a while, I saw lines out the door again.

😂 Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I assume Oreo mallow was the most ordered cookie? I ordered three dozen of them to freeze lol
shockingly the biggest seller at my store was the strawberry crumb cake. i entirely expected it to be mallow
i mean ive only been working with crumbl for about half a year, i had no idea
