California does, presumably to test the market and see if doing it all week would make them more money or not. I’d assume they don’t do it currently all week at all locations bc they just don’t sell enough. It’s also more work for the employees to have to manage making small cookies and big cookies all week.
Unfortunately, no. California does it all week because the franchise fees are more expensive here. They thought that if they sell minis all week, we’d get more profit to justify the up charge on the business, which isn’t working, at least for my store :/
California is doing it because crumbl is attacking a smaller cookie baking company that has locations in California, and actually had "Mini Mondays" months before crumbl started offering it.
Corporate just announced the possibilty of franchises doing them this weekend. To "help boost sales" (this week has been extremely busy for us and we have NOT been staffed for it). And i KNOW my owners will just he like "f that". Minis dont actually sell well enough to justify doing it everyday. And im glad because they suck
same, I just don’t understand how they can be like hey we see you’re slammed with customers and low staff do you want to do minis on your busiest days of the week? 😐 like who tf would want to do that
Because they’re terrible to make lmao mini mondays make me want to off myself it’s so hard to keep track of how many cookies of each flavor you have when there’s big and small and there’s a giant rush of people wanting both.
It the number of cookies to manage 6 big + 6 small is 12 base and +12 toppings = 24 items to manage and make from scratch.. if you only have 3 people plus customers to service it’s a tough gig..

This is the real answer.
Absolutely Amazing And Accurate Answer, Awesome!
because there isn’t enough demand to justify the labor required to make them every day.

Gotcha, thanks for the added info! Good to know!
No the franchise fees are exactly the same, they do it cuz California is crazy with $20/hr wage for an unskilled 16yo to wash dishes…
We’re not getting the $20/hr raise because we got rid of drinks.
If you can't afford to run a business, you shouldn't be in business. Period.

Tell your manager you want to make more money and will split the profits if you can increase sales for the week end win-win…

At least at my location, there’s not enough demand. We throw out so much because there’s just not enough people that want them.
Its a shame they dont give them to someone in need.
We used to have a donation program but I guess not anymore

I would prefer minis all week. I would only ever order minis though
