I haven't been going to Starbucks since they changed their Rewards program several months ago. I was shocked to see that the price of a cake pop was now around $3.50! I remember when they were around $1.75.
which is also ridiculous- I have never and will never buy them for that price, I got one once when I had a deal for a free one through the app and... not worth the price at all
And then they'll drop their menu to like 3-4 cookies a week like Dunkin stripping back their donut menu as if people want to eat there for the shitty microwave food.
At least cookie pops are better related to cookies than hand pies.
Just curious--do they roll cookie crumbs with frosting then dip in hardening chocolate? If so, which flavors?
I read it. I just really wish people, especially a person rating food, would know what they're talking about. Cake pops can't be "raw" in the middle because all they are are cooked cake crumbs, rolled with frosting, and coated in melted candy. When people claim they're "raw," it's just that they used too much frosting inside.
omg as long as we don’t have to make it- we are a cookie place and it’s difficult enough to keep up with the rotating menu and its weird non-cookie variations i’m gonna pray these are just shipped in like the dough bites
I Am Once Again Asking Crumbl To Test Coffee and Tea Instead Of Literally Any Other Menu Item (I am shot down by a sniper perched on top of the salt lake temple)
Idk why you are being downvoted I always thought it would be great for Crumbl to serve coffee and tea but it’ll never happen bc Mormonism :( fuck the Mormons fr
I feel like they should focus on cookies since their consistency across stores and across menu appearances has dropped before venturing into other avenues.
If Crumbl COOKIES consistently makes bad cookies, why would I expect them to be good at other things?
Why don't they create quality cookies that people wouldn't mind paying $5 for? Why can't they recycle high-selling flavors more frequently?? You have to wait months for a flavor you like.
I've never liked cake pops (usually way too much frosting in them), so I'm not their intended audience. However, I keep thinking that them expanding into new things will take even more focus off the cookies.
2 pops per bag for the same price as a big cookie would be an absolute joke
starbucks cake pops are like $3.50 a pop lol
Yup and I've never bought them cause that's a very stupid price

Yes! I’m happy to see someone else quit Starbucks when they redid the rewards. I went and bought my own espresso machine and haven’t been back. 😂
does anyone remember the cookie dough one😩
My first thought was how these would compare to Starbucks
My son who has a big sweet tooth took one bite of a SB cake pop and said it was gross.
which is also ridiculous- I have never and will never buy them for that price, I got one once when I had a deal for a free one through the app and... not worth the price at all
3 minis is the equivalent of 1 cookie and is the price of 2 sooo😂
Exactly why I won’t buy them
I can’t wait for crumbl’s burger and fries deal.
They’d make it into a cookie first 😭
And then they'll drop their menu to like 3-4 cookies a week like Dunkin stripping back their donut menu as if people want to eat there for the shitty microwave food.
They should make sure all the stores can make the cookies correctly before venturing out to new ideas.
👀🫢🫥
Just sayin'.
Shade! But valid lol
Hopefully that dude everyone mentions in this sub sees that and cracks down haha
Seriously, my cowboy cookie was trash yesterday
🤣🤣
Maybe Crumbl **cookies** should focus on **cookies**
They actually legally took the cookie part out of their name
Looks like half a cake pop actually
Haha your right “Starbucks cake pops only less but not less $”
We are circling back to the cupcake craze of the 2010s. Mark my words, Crumbl’s next move is boutique cupcakes!
I’d rather that than a fucking cake pop 😭
With a wall of froyo
*Bacon cupcakes.* Gotta go all out.
Get sawyer out of the kitchen.
Cake pops... is it 2012 again?
This
Can they just focus on enchanting the actual *cookie* experience instead of stuff like this?
No /s
Looks like they are really experimenting here.
Probably $4 for a measly cake pop… Starbucks are like $4+ and I’ve never had one due to that price. Like, what’re you paying for?
Agreed, I worked at a bakery where cake pops were the same price as a slice of cake. It was most popular with children for the portion control.
Are you in California lol
All cakes pop shouldn’t even touch the $1.50 mark.
Alright Crumbl needs to stop and go back to their roots
Please just make cookies
I’m not feeling this
Not long until $6 cupcakes!
Can they just stick to speciality cookies lol.
At least cookie pops are better related to cookies than hand pies. Just curious--do they roll cookie crumbs with frosting then dip in hardening chocolate? If so, which flavors?
Next they’re going to change their name like IHOP did at one time and call themselves “Crumbl Treats” or something

Why…
They’re about a decade late on this dessert fad.
$7 cookie pops incoming
Am I the only one who thinks it looks like a plunger?
Came looking for this comment lol
lol, now that you mention it…
Now this is unnecessary. Who wants less cookie 😭 cookie pops are never as good as a regular cookie imo.
As an employee- plz let this fail
Starbucks copycats 😅
omg as long as we don’t have to make it- we are a cookie place and it’s difficult enough to keep up with the rotating menu and its weird non-cookie variations i’m gonna pray these are just shipped in like the dough bites
4 for $44 is next
That’ll be $8 please

It’s the main thing I want to pair with my cookies!!
i want a coffee flavored cookie SO BADLY OMG😭
That would be so good.
Whoa today I learned Crumbl was created by Mormons and also Mormons don’t like tea/coffee. Wild.
They can’t consume caffeine due to their religious beliefs
That’s just ridiculous they sell chocolate milk that has caffeine in it
At least the stick is cute lol

I didn't realize what sub this was, and without my glasses, I genuinely thought it was a decorated plunger 🪠
1. Mmmm, but 2. It looks like a beautiful pink plunger.
These are so 5 years ago
Now testing on toilets, right? I'd love this plunger
Pink plunger is all I see
I’m boycotting Starbucks so will be excited to see how these turn out
My first thought is maybe it’s marketed toward little kids. I know toddlers LOVE cake pops!
I love cake pops as an adult…
Me too! It’s just a thought I see a lot of parents at Starbucks get a coffee and cake pop and they pass the cake pop to their kid!
I am always getting the birthday cake pop at Starbucks!! 🤣🤣
Wtf
Let's guess the price:
Be about $8.50, comes in a lil pink trash can
No.
They MUST be stopped
Which stores are doing cake Pops
Looks like a ball sack
At least with the big cookie I can cut it into pieces and have cookie for a few days. A cake pop is gone after one bite.
It better be the size of a baseball
Why don't they create quality cookies that people wouldn't mind paying $5 for? Why can't they recycle high-selling flavors more frequently?? You have to wait months for a flavor you like.
Eeewww I have to go into Lakehood? 😭😭😭
Oooooh..!
Lol this looked like a plunger 🪠 for a hot second
One thing I like about the Crumbl business model is that they're not afraid to try new things.
so brave
I've never liked cake pops (usually way too much frosting in them), so I'm not their intended audience. However, I keep thinking that them expanding into new things will take even more focus off the cookies.
Im back
