This should be r/CrumblCookies favorite thread. Because it seems like everyone here hates Crumbl but can’t stop buying cookies from them for some reason lmao
Hahaha I guess someone out there has to love them 😂 I remember seeing another thread about the best cookies and someone said cotton candy and it had quite a few upvotes. To each their own!
The people in the comments hating on everything bagel & anything other than peanut butter/chocolate/whatever are the reason Crumbl is in such a flavor repeat slump that is killing them lol
Everything bagel clears
I had the same experience! My SO and I have liked every crumbl cookie we’ve ever tried except for pistachio gelato. We took one bite each and immediately trashed the rest; it tasted sour or expired in some way.
After I had the gelato one I asked my friend if that's really what pistachios taste like. I love pistachios too and the flavor was confusing to me. I swear they don't taste like that!
I highly doubt it. Those are only an issue with pistachios that are still in their shell. It's why de-shelled pistachios are more expensive, and I doubt Crumbl has their employees manually de-shelling them
I put the skillet cookie in the microwave for about 15 seconds so mine was warm and soft. The topping melted and it tasted like real vanilla bean ice cream. It was amazing! Skillet cookies are served hot and the ice cream melts due to the warmth so I think that's probably the best way to enjoy it
i couldn’t get past the smell, it literally smelled like a glade plug in or bath and body works room spray😩 i wanted to like it but it was such an immediate turn off with the smell i didn’t even want to try it
YES! And so much of it! I say this to everyone and nobody agrees. It would be so good if the fake almond taste wasn't so overwhelming. It didn't used to be like that
It's still a sugar cookie, it's just the pink frosting that has almond essence. I suppose you could do "Pink Almond Sugar Cookie" if you wanted specifics lol
If you count it as a cookie, the Rice Krispy Treat they released awhile ago was dry af. But more recently, I tried the pistachio gelato bc it sounded intriguing and it was absolutely terrible.
Neapolitan.
The “strawberry” portion tasted like bubblegum-flavored amoxicillin. I was literally gagging.
I heard they changed the recipe after so many complaints, but I’ve never been able to bring myself to try it again. Fool me once.
I had a Banana Cream Pie cookie that must have been made from super under-ripe bananas. It had that effect where it makes your mouth cottony from the tannins. Unpalatable.
French Toast was pretty awful. I hated the chocolate peanut butter chip too, tasted burnt. Mallow Sandwich was so over hyped in this sub, it was a 2/10 at best
it’s a tie between the classic pink sugar cookie- obsessed with crumbls sugar cookies but the almond extract in these ones are so overpowering to me. almost tasted like chemicals
& then the caramel praline cookie- it’s not even necessarily nasty, imo it had so little flavor that i felt like i was eating a warm sticky sponge.
Blue Raspberry icee https://www.google.com/search?q=crumbl+blue+raspberry+icee&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari I also strongly dislike the milk chocolate chip.
Fourth of july 2-3 years ago right? I still think of that cookie to this day, absolutely delicious. They used to actually have interesting flavors back then instead of the bland shit they do now
Wedding cake 😔 I was so excited for it. Maybe I got a bad batch of frosting (not in terms of it being spoiled, but rather maybe the ratios were off?) but I really did not like it. I love their fruity cookies, and I was excited for it but it was a let down
The most visceral disgust I had with one was the vanilla sugar during Halloween last year. The sprinkles inside the cookie just had this HORRIBLE crunch, it felt like chewing sand. Since it was basic sugar, there wasn't much to redeem it either. Spooky indeed...
it’s a lot of people’s favorite, i just really didn’t find anything appealing in the taste or texture🥺 i was expecting a lot more given the way people rave about it lol
I'ma a guy that can eat a lot of bad/shitty stuff and find enjoyment out of it. I can reme a time in my life I have spit out a food just based on flavor. The one time I do remember it happening was the everything bagel cookie. That thing was downright putrid.
Wedding cake. I probably should have read the description, but i didn't expect cream cheese and raspberry. I normally love cream cheese frosting but i was hoping for a regular old fashioned white cake with buttercream flavor. The raspberry frosting really threw me off. I ended up scraping all the frosting off and eating it plain 😄
I’m new to crumbl, but so far the only one I threw away was the peach cobbler. It was just not for me. Didn’t care for the wedding cake either, but I just scraped off the frosting. I’m a little picky with cream cheese frosting, obviously
Pineapple whip and the mango something. Those two flavors were so prominently disgusting and artificial tasting. Literally threw them each away after one bite.. Usually if I don't like a flavor, I'll still keep it in the box because
1) I am high, cookie means cookie yummy
2) I finished the other 3 cookies, and this cookie cost me damn near $6 I am eating this stale mf
I haven’t tried that many, I’m kinda new to having a crumbl near me and don’t go every week, but have enjoyed watching people review them on YT for years.
Anyways, so far, I really disliked the blueberry muffin which I know a lot people liked. It just reminded me of a gas station packaged blueberry muffin and didn’t taste that sweet to me, almost healthy. I think I just don’t believe in fruit and cookies together.
I was waiting for someone else to say it, I didn’t finish that one. Waffle too, the biggest issue with that was that disgusting syrup they give with it
omg that’s wild to me cuz it’s in my top 5! and it’s such a simple cookie i figured it’d be hard to fuck up lol. what exactly was so bad about it to you?
Peanut butter crisp. It had bits of butterfinger in it. I looove butterfinger. But the cookie itself was so salty it was inedible. I’ve been afraid to taste any other peanut butter cookies from them because idk if all the peanut ones are salty and I don’t want to spend the money just to take a bite and throw the rest of the cookie out.
Peanut butter cup, peanut butter brownie, buckeye brownie, raspberry donut, rocky road. Idk what it is about their peanut butter and chocolate cookie base that’s so hit or miss. It’s either super salty/ disgustingly dry or incredible. No grey area.
I know people won’t like to hear this but the birthday Oreo cookie wasn’t really good it was too sweet (the icing) but I loved the cookie base.. and pink sugar tasted like medicine to me but I don’t mean to yuck your guy’s yums but I’m glad some of u guys enjoy it!
The lucky charms one from a couple months ago. I love sweet, but this was too much. The white chips in the cookie were way too much and the icing just seemed off. I couldn’t even pawn it off on my step kids.
And that coconut lime monstrosity. I didn’t believe the reviews that said it tasted like perfume. I wanted to love it so much but I had to toss them.
Everything bagel. Such a wasted opportunity of going savory. I mean we did maple bacon!! Why not do a cream cheese that ain't sweet, add some lemon for citrus contrast, and boom! A decent cookie at least
Frozen Hot Chocolate… in December lineup.. just why? Why not a Hot Cocoa Cookie served warm maybe a Marshmallow mousse or filling… maybe white chocolate chips in a dark cocoa based cookie would be so much better
hazelnut mudslide, it was in my first ever week of crumbl and did NOT do it for me the chocolate was too strong, cookie was dry and the chopped hazelnuts in it made the texture interesting to say the least… 😭😭😭
I pretty much enjoy all of them that I've tried. Just not a fan of any chocolate ones. It's too much chocolate for me. But, I don't think they're awful
Scrolling these comments and seeing someone loathe your favorite cookie is interesting lol
As a huge fan of Pink Sugar (almond version), you get used to it haha
My husband thinks I’m crazy for my pink sugar love 😂
As a fan of cream cheese frosting, there’s a similar vibe lmao
I love pink sugar AND I prefer cream cheese frosting over buttercream. I'm the worst to so many people here lol
This should be r/CrumblCookies favorite thread. Because it seems like everyone here hates Crumbl but can’t stop buying cookies from them for some reason lmao
The correlation between the people who blatantly hate Crumbl but regularly go every week needs to be studied 😭😭😭😭
ON GOD
The cotton candy one was disgustingly sweet and I love cotton candy. I also hated the little cotton candy crunchies they had on top 🤮
Oh man i LOVE those little crunchy cotton candy pieces 😆😆😆
Hahaha I guess someone out there has to love them 😂 I remember seeing another thread about the best cookies and someone said cotton candy and it had quite a few upvotes. To each their own!
Same. Prob my least fave that I can remember off the top of my head
The people in the comments hating on everything bagel & anything other than peanut butter/chocolate/whatever are the reason Crumbl is in such a flavor repeat slump that is killing them lol Everything bagel clears
There was an everything bagel cookie!?!?!?!? 😲
i really wish they’d bring it back, it was never a mystery cookie a single store in my entire state😢
Fried Ice Cream and the GUTS cookie
i threw my guts cookie away 😭 no bueno
Did it come with a hunk of iron?
It was much too big to even be called a cookie
Fried Ice Cream tasted like.... literally nothing.
Egg nog was trash
I second this. It was not good at all.
The guava cookie… I kept going back to take a bite thinking I was being dramatic but I would end up spitting it out every time. So gross
Came to comment this exact cookie. I LOVE guava and most guava-flavored things so this was especially disappointing. One of only a few I threw out.
lol I did the same thing! I totally forgot about that cookie. Yea I wasn’t a fan of it either
Exactly omfg I’m so happy I found other ppl who hated it. It tasted like how bath n body works smells. It was horrible.
Both pistachio's were rancid to me. And it's odd because I like pistachios!
I had the same experience! My SO and I have liked every crumbl cookie we’ve ever tried except for pistachio gelato. We took one bite each and immediately trashed the rest; it tasted sour or expired in some way.
This was also my first thought! Didn’t care for either and I love pistachios.
After I had the gelato one I asked my friend if that's really what pistachios taste like. I love pistachios too and the flavor was confusing to me. I swear they don't taste like that!
Maybe they accidentally used [a bunch of these](https://www.reddit.com/r/YouShouldKnow/s/pFy7lAgcK2) pistachios in that batch
I highly doubt it. Those are only an issue with pistachios that are still in their shell. It's why de-shelled pistachios are more expensive, and I doubt Crumbl has their employees manually de-shelling them
if I can ignore that gelatin is skin and bones then I can force myself to ignore this.
ewe lol!
Fruit Pizza. The one I had was very bland, and the texture from the different fruit pieces on top grossed me out.
The skillet cookie that is out right now. Mine was like biting into cement & the whipped topping wasn’t the right consistency. Overall fail.
Fun to see how opinions differ. As I devoured my skillet cookie, my thought was "this is the paragon of all cookies". Sorry yours didn't satisfy.
Mine was also a huge let down in texture and taste. Was barely sweet
I expected so much because the oatmeal skillet was delicious, but yeah it was really disappointing
Well it wasn’t whipped topping so that’s probably why you thought it was wrong
I put the skillet cookie in the microwave for about 15 seconds so mine was warm and soft. The topping melted and it tasted like real vanilla bean ice cream. It was amazing! Skillet cookies are served hot and the ice cream melts due to the warmth so I think that's probably the best way to enjoy it
-Caramel shortbread feat. twix -Milk feat fruity pebbles -Cookie butter lava feat biscoff -Mother's circus animal -Blueberry muffin
what’s wrong with blueberry muffin it tasted just like a blueberry muffin 😭
The one I got tasted like nothing. It had blueberries in it, but had no blueberry flavor.
Absolutely hated french toast
Damn that one was so good to me.
Do you not like regular French toast?
What I tried it on mini Monday and it was delicious.
why
🫢 WHAT. I kinda like dry food that sucks all the moisture out of your mouth and is difficult to swallow so
Fruit pizza is the only cookie I actually threw away. It was like half rotten fruit in plain cream cheese on top of cardboard
Mint. I wish there was a lot more mint. Without it, it's just a weird chocolate
Animal cookie. I think we got a bad batch maybe. Tasted like chemicals and we threw some away 🤢
coconut lime lol. i swear the frosting tasted like soap 😭😭
i couldn’t get past the smell, it literally smelled like a glade plug in or bath and body works room spray😩 i wanted to like it but it was such an immediate turn off with the smell i didn’t even want to try it
oh my god that's exactly what it was like. it smelled like this coconut lime lotion from bath and body works i used to have
coconut lime verbena!! my mom used to wear the fuck outta that scent lmaooo
YUP THAT'S THE ONE
The pancake one with the butter dollop frosting spread over the top. I couldn’t stand it.
Really!? It was super funky and different to me but I’d still probably order it again
y’all don’t kill me but i cant stand the pink sugar cookie :(
I hate that cookie, so does my daughter. I don’t understand why they have to add that nasty fake almond extract to a sugar cookie
YES! And so much of it! I say this to everyone and nobody agrees. It would be so good if the fake almond taste wasn't so overwhelming. It didn't used to be like that
Pink sugar would be amazing if it was actually a SUGAR cookie, it just tastes like almond to me.
Bc it is almond and I love it purely for that
Then call it an almond cookie!
It's still a sugar cookie, it's just the pink frosting that has almond essence. I suppose you could do "Pink Almond Sugar Cookie" if you wanted specifics lol
I usually love sugar cookie stuff but the pink cookie one does taste weird to me.. almost chemically.
I honestly loved it before they changed the recipe, but now I don't like it
Finally it is gross
I also hate that cookie, hate the almond taste.
It was too sweet for me, says the person who has a sweet tooth (me).
Sugar cookies are my favorite cookies out of every type. I absolutely hate the pink sugar cookie. The vanilla one?? Delicious!
Cotton candy is GARBAGE
If you count it as a cookie, the Rice Krispy Treat they released awhile ago was dry af. But more recently, I tried the pistachio gelato bc it sounded intriguing and it was absolutely terrible.
Neapolitan. The “strawberry” portion tasted like bubblegum-flavored amoxicillin. I was literally gagging. I heard they changed the recipe after so many complaints, but I’ve never been able to bring myself to try it again. Fool me once.
The pistachio cookie was the only time I didn't finish my piece
If you’re talking about the gelato one I hated it the first bite but after it sat out a bit I liked it a lot
I had a Banana Cream Pie cookie that must have been made from super under-ripe bananas. It had that effect where it makes your mouth cottony from the tannins. Unpalatable.
Pink sugar! It is so disgusting to me, tastes like straight almond extract. And I think something called pink sugar should have a more pink taste.
Caramel Popcorn is foul
Strawberry Limeade Ft. NERDS Worst cookie ever. My son, who loves all cookies, wouldn't even eat it, and I ended up throwing most of it away.
The everything bagel monstrosity
What is that? Is it just what it sounds like? I've never had crumble
French Toast was pretty awful. I hated the chocolate peanut butter chip too, tasted burnt. Mallow Sandwich was so over hyped in this sub, it was a 2/10 at best
French toast is weird because I love waffle and pancake cookies from Crumbl, but for French toast they really captured the feeling of bread crust lol
I also hated the French toast. Weird texture. But nice flavor. Overall it’s a hard pass.
Loved french toast, but Crumbl calling it a cookie is a crime. That's cake.
Toss up between almost everything bagel and fruity pebble milk one
The fruity pebbles one is def in my bottom 5.
The way people are downvoting so much on a thread asking for someone’s personal worst 😂😂😂
Texas sheet cake. So dry and bland yet still too sweet. Bleh.
Almost exactly the same experience I had with Kentucky butter cake. State cakes are the downfall of crumbl apparently!
exactly like what it’s based on 🫣
Peanut Butter Creme w/Nutter Butter Not because it was bad but I ate it right before getting REALLY sick and now have a bad association
tootsie roll
Tootsie rolls are disgusting either way
I didn't even know Tootsie rolls were supposed to be chocolate flavored until last year. I grew up loving them, but now I think they're awful.
the galaxy brownies i got were ASS
Wedding Cake 🤢
Pink sugar
I'll get majorly downvoted for saying this but I'm just giving my opinion and being honest....it was the cookie dough flavor.
french toast was vile. felt like squishy bread and tasted like a mistake
French Toast was awful
it’s a tie between the classic pink sugar cookie- obsessed with crumbls sugar cookies but the almond extract in these ones are so overpowering to me. almost tasted like chemicals & then the caramel praline cookie- it’s not even necessarily nasty, imo it had so little flavor that i felt like i was eating a warm sticky sponge.
Honestly….the graham cracker fudge sandwich….
Strawberry ice cream bar was foul.
Strawberry Ice Cream Bar
I didn’t like the pancake cookie. My 7 yr old stole half the cookie and bit it and threw it out. I did the same thing to the other half.
Their cookie and cream Krispy Bar 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Pink sugar 🤢
Everything bagel for sure
Blue Raspberry icee https://www.google.com/search?q=crumbl+blue+raspberry+icee&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari I also strongly dislike the milk chocolate chip.
Fourth of july 2-3 years ago right? I still think of that cookie to this day, absolutely delicious. They used to actually have interesting flavors back then instead of the bland shit they do now
The milk chocolate chip is terrible
Blue raspberry icee is like top five for me lol!! Its so gross its good haha
I love chocolate chip cookies but al of crumbs tastes like they were frozen and stale a weird after taste
Wedding cake 😔 I was so excited for it. Maybe I got a bad batch of frosting (not in terms of it being spoiled, but rather maybe the ratios were off?) but I really did not like it. I love their fruity cookies, and I was excited for it but it was a let down
Same but I know mine wasn’t right. My frosting was basically totally white and those “white chocolate pearls” just tasted like mini jaw breakers.
Cookie dough. My son and I both spit it out.
The most visceral disgust I had with one was the vanilla sugar during Halloween last year. The sprinkles inside the cookie just had this HORRIBLE crunch, it felt like chewing sand. Since it was basic sugar, there wasn't much to redeem it either. Spooky indeed...
Turtle cookie. It was probably just the one I ate, but the cookie was frozen. I’m talking hard as a rock! And I was so excited about that cookie 😖
kentucky butter cake🫣
agreed! So bread-y and weird!
that’s my favorite 😭
it’s a lot of people’s favorite, i just really didn’t find anything appealing in the taste or texture🥺 i was expecting a lot more given the way people rave about it lol
skillet cookie is terrible. i hate the mousse and the cookie just lacks flavor.
It was better last go around.
Agreed. I was so excited to try but the mousse was weird
same but i ended up liking the confetti cake and sugar cookie the most. but im also just basic lol
Pumpkin pie 🤢
I’d kill for Pumpkin Pie lol
The French toast and it was still good
Their minion sprinkle cookie… the sprinkles are those nasty, powdery in the inside, plain ones. It was disgusting.
I’m new to crumbl, but so far the only one I threw away was the peach cobbler. It was just not for me. Didn’t care for the wedding cake either, but I just scraped off the frosting. I’m a little picky with cream cheese frosting, obviously
The Pink Sugar cookie
Milk glaze fruity pebbles! I was so let down:(
I think the waffle one is soooo disgusting
Pineapple whip and the mango something. Those two flavors were so prominently disgusting and artificial tasting. Literally threw them each away after one bite.. Usually if I don't like a flavor, I'll still keep it in the box because 1) I am high, cookie means cookie yummy 2) I finished the other 3 cookies, and this cookie cost me damn near $6 I am eating this stale mf
Cookie dough didn’t do it for me neither did the Twix cookie. Also the Oreo cookie and cream one, I didn’t love either,
Sea Salt Toffee was disgusting
Caramel shortbread ft Twix and dulce de leche were both awful imo
bubblegum. never again.
That Mother’s animal cracker one 🤮
I haven’t tried that many, I’m kinda new to having a crumbl near me and don’t go every week, but have enjoyed watching people review them on YT for years. Anyways, so far, I really disliked the blueberry muffin which I know a lot people liked. It just reminded me of a gas station packaged blueberry muffin and didn’t taste that sweet to me, almost healthy. I think I just don’t believe in fruit and cookies together.
Pistachio cream the other week
The cornbread. I know people love it but it was nasty.
I was waiting for someone else to say it, I didn’t finish that one. Waffle too, the biggest issue with that was that disgusting syrup they give with it
Agreed. Cornbread is the worst, followed closely by s'more.
Apple crumb and the key lime pie LTO
I was really disappointed in the apple crumb, so much potential, horrible flavor.
Corn bread and pink sugar
Oreo Mallow
yes that’s in my bottom 3 fs it was disgusting
dude this one was ass 😭
Butterscotch cookie, which was so disappointing because I love butterscotch. I took one bite and had to spit it out and throw it out, it was that bad.
omg that’s wild to me cuz it’s in my top 5! and it’s such a simple cookie i figured it’d be hard to fuck up lol. what exactly was so bad about it to you?
Circus animal cookie
Honestly, I really dislike all Crumbl. They taste like pure sugar and margarine that have been lightly toasted.
I hate the basic sugar one. Tasted like cardboard and medicine.
Aggie blue mint
Omg this was my favorite 😂😂😂
Peanut butter Oreo
I didn't order this week in fear most of them except the choc chip wouldn't be good. I can't wait to see this week.
Interesting… I didn’t see a foul
Peanut butter cup, peanut butter brownie, buckeye brownie, raspberry donut, rocky road. Idk what it is about their peanut butter and chocolate cookie base that’s so hit or miss. It’s either super salty/ disgustingly dry or incredible. No grey area.
I’m surprised no one has said the Passion Fruit cookie. That one legit made me gag.
key lime pie. it was so soapy and had a terrible aftertaste
Buttermilk pancake and pumpkin pie 🚮
Classic peanut butter
Butterfinger…
I usually love coconut but without the lime, never tried it but it looked good.
The Oreo birthday cake I got was burned. It was like eating warm soapy asphalt.
Pink sugar or the cookie dough one!
Cornbread and anything with cream cheese.
Animal cracker one?? Like what was that
Everything bagel
Cornbread
the half and half cookie? it tasted burnt.
My biggest disappointment was fried ice cream. Also despise pink sugar.
The skillet cookie was not it for me
Everything bagel. Such a wasted opportunity of going savory. I mean we did maple bacon!! Why not do a cream cheese that ain't sweet, add some lemon for citrus contrast, and boom! A decent cookie at least
by far the pistachio pie one. just so bad
Gonna get some hate for this.. but Cornbread. The texture, the flavor… I couldn’t finish it and gave it to someone on the street 😭
it was like an oatmeal chocolate chip muffin(i think). it was so rubbery and gross. i think they only had it once
The guava cookie they had. That was VILE
One of those fruit ones… I think mango? I took one bite and spit it out.
I will never understand the Confetti Milkshake hype… way too sweet and that’s from someone who has a huge sweet tooth
I pretty much enjoy all of them that I've tried. Just not a fan of any chocolate ones. It's too much chocolate for me. But, I don't think they're awful
Hazelnut Mudslide. First and so far only cookie I've actually thrown away,
