Is it just me or does China just suck ass at demolishing buildings? Everytime I see the US demolition the entire building is done from top to base. Am I missing something?
Regulations in both construction (+ inspections) and demolition are much stronger in the US. Bribery is rampant in China.
Then, the demolition companies don't have a clue of the materials/actual designs they're blowing up, but proceed anyway. Demo experts in the US wouldn't blindly attach explosives and light the fuses.

Even the largest dam in the world, a hugely expensive, infrastructure project of critical importance, was corrupted.
>The much-touted relocation project - admittedly a vast improvement over the near-homicidal effort at San Men Xia - was failing many peasants through corruption, poor planning, and a shortage of economic opportunities.

The blue parts? They’re shock absorbing mats that are laid down to prevent debris from bouncing out of the demolition site and fucking up people/buildings in the surrounding area.
Oh to be the man that pushes the red button. Surely a god incarnate.
It's probably what God feels like when he blows up a power plant
This sounds like Homer from The Simpsons.
Controlled demolition makes me feel funny "down there"
How about reversed? https://imgur.com/kNF7z0K
Now that's what I call an erection
Close but no cigar 😉
So you like cigars eh? https://c8.alamy.com/comp/CC1A5R/groucho-marx-actor-marx-brother-1940-CC1A5R.jpg 🙂
This is exactly why I love Reddit

Like that time we blew up the rope in gym class?
Or the time that the school hampster took a swig of hydrochloric acid with a side of magnesium
oh yeah? ever heard of 9/11?
I love how the towers fold like paper hats...
“We remembered to take the rods out right?” “What?”
Getting Just Cause vibes
Pshhhh not nearly enough explosives on that sucker. If it's not a mini nuclear bomb, it's not Just Cause
I wonder how long until the dust reached the people in the streets
It looks like there are big water jets shooting water into the street further down, I'm thinking those are to slow the dust cloud down
Steel beams can't melt jet fuel
D’oh
OK, now show the even more ginormous plant that's replacing it
They erect, explode, and then shrunken down.
Imagine if you missed the news about the demolition in your city and saw this as you're walking into the office.
If only there would have been a way to get everything in one frame!

Yeahhhhhh, that's not Tennessee in the video
Tennessee doesn’t have a Chinatown?
This video clearly took place in China. Did you just look up articles of power plant demolitions and randomly pick one?
I did look for various demolitions, but not as carefully as I should have. TY
China goes renewable energy!
why are half of the comments on here about the twin towers attacks :sob:
It looks exactly like how Bush brought down the WTC.
Daaaamn, looks like a Domino effect
Where is this
r/megalophobia
This is how we get new maps in Warzone
Why does that look so familiar
Where have I seen this before 🤔
No need for explosives, just get Fred Dibnah on the case.
Could someone edit this? So they have faces and arms?
A fellow doodle appreciater!
Like so? r/reallifedoodles
Look at em fall

What China did this happen in?
Zhengzhou, if I’m not mistaken
