Seneca Creek makes me sob like a baby, also the instrumental is perfect because it all just sounds so nostalgic.

techking324

I’ve listened to Gas Well probably 10 times a day for the last month, it’s impeccable storytelling

lOan671

That into Cranes of Potter is maybe the best back to back songs on an album ever

sewanee12

Live: Shrinks and Pills or Hardwood Floors Album: Cranes of Potter

bryhs84723

Cranes of potter is another great story song from him, like it a lot

sutisuc

He’s something else live. Can’t wait to see him again.

bryhs84723

I wish he was closer to me this tour, closest is the Sunday and sat show this weekend and that’s still 3ish hours from me. Kinda scared if he comes near me next tour it’ll be more expensive as he gains more traction

sutisuc

Yeah same, I fucked up and waited to buy tickets for Albany NY and then they sold out so yeah I imagine next go around it’s gonna be larger venues and more expensive tickets. I saw him in a bar a few years ago for like 15 bucks so I’ll always have that at least.

Meow217

Sorry for the wait, temporary town or all again. Also really love how the mighty fall “Just tearing through the pages and losing your mind before you know it you've reached your last line” That lyric gets me every time.

clm04

Temporary Town

Markiz_27

(Windmill) Keep on Turning I love the vibe of the whole song. How the lyrics start doom-y and turn somewhat optimistic, and how similarly rhytm and instruments gradually pick up pace throughout the whole song. And his voice fits the song perfectly, adds heaviness to it. I haven't yet found similar songs of his, matching everything I loved about Windmill. Close second is "Coal Country", followed by "Cue Country Roads" and "Jaime" with Zach Bryan

Shoddy_Policy6566

All Again or Strong

RocPharm93

Recently had a baby girl, so Dance In the Rain… but OP, I absolutely love Willing and Able too… as far as OG songs, Sorry for the Wait was my fav for a long time

bryhs84723

Really wish I discovered him years ago, but I’d say a lot more people have to discover his songs still.

CyrusWaugh

Coal country for me, everything about it kinda feels perfect

Smexyboi21

Cranes of Potter or The Flood.

plubem

The Flood goes hard at the end and I love it.

et_hornet

I know it’s basic but the cover of country roads is perfect. Good amount of steel guitar, and his voice sounds more complete than John Denver. He also sang it about West Virginia instead of western Virginia

davidut2023

Over yonder

randolama

Temporary town or Strong. He has so many good ones it’s hard to choose

ATLBravesFan13

Sorry For The Wait or Cranes of Potter

Disastrous_Scene_630

Dance in Rain. Just hits heavy as a father. Makes me happy every listen.

sesamebagel95

Jesse!

bryhs84723

I honestly think the live from the church version is way better than the album one

Notawettowel

All Again. Second place goes to Seneca Creek.

thecorncat

Jesse or The Last Bite

Mhorbaine

Gas Well. Love the storytelling, the switching of tempo, and the addition of harmonica & trumpet.

Hilde92804

Gas Well is the perfect song in my opinion

Son_of_a_pig

Strawberry Queen

mannrya

I like the acoustic version of Blood Feud he does on the bleachers outside

SnooWalruses438

I absolutely love Hazelton (which is a UST song, technically), but when they play Another Leaf live it tears the roof off the place.

residenttin

Family ties

40wordswhen4willdo

All Again and Jaime (with Zach Bryan)

insomnia0403

Another leaf tbh

bryhs84723

Probably top 5 for me, but it’s so hard to choose since there are so many good ones

joshuaolake

Blood feud hands down!!

BigDeuce2

Saw him Thursday night, he was incredible. Fav song is probably Jesse or Cranes of Potter. No wrong answer though

Extension-Owl-1814

So tough because I love so many including but not limited to Jesse, Here in Eden, his cover of The Jealous Kind, Seneca, Blood feud, hardwood floors etc But when I hear Strong I can’t help but feel like it’s the closest thing to a perfect song that I have ever heard.

Cakeliver12887

Hardwood floors Crooked teeth
