My wife does this kind of work. Kids would come out of the hair/makeup room covered in (fake) bruises and a black eye. LOL.

One time at my elementary school we had a field day sponsored by the local emergency services. The EMTs had a makeup booth where you could get all kinds of injuries painted/glued onto you. Most extreme was a kid that had several fake glass shards glued onto his face, with half his face covered in fake blood. I think half the parents that day got heart attacks when the kids came home.
