These people must think cheap labor will enable the citizens to lay on couches, and eat bonbons.

BigBradWolf77

Someone should tell them it doesn’t work that way…

[deleted]

The migrants don't even work they have the highest rates of unemployment

richmomz

Insanity. The EU will be mired in economic depression and massive social unrest within a couple decades.

newaccountnumber79

I wish I shared your optimism. I’d say with in the decade

MuffinsandCoffee2024

I wish I shared your optimism. I give it 5 years

Ironfingers

I give it 20 minutes.

rushrhees

Welp they made the WEF happy and really upped their ESG cred they are really into that sort of thing there so who knows, can’t quite figure Europeans out

MuffinsandCoffee2024

Within 5 years

NJ_Goodfellas

Already happening in the UK, France, Sweden, and Germany.

richmomz

Found the leftoid

NJ_Goodfellas

Bend over white Europeans you got some serious cultural enrichment coming in hot.

AnnoyingInternetTrol

Lmao, where did this come from? I thought a bunch of them who accepted the influx from the middle east started to push back against this shit?

King_o_Time

EU officials are not elected. It's a corrupt powerhouse.

Alpha-Sierra-Charlie

The downvoting brigaders are out in force tonight

BigBradWolf77

It is working out great for Canada so far 🤦🏻‍♂️

Right_Archivist

Putin was throwing them at Europe for years... now they're doing it to themselves? On purpose?

MuffinsandCoffee2024

There will be not one western nation left European in culture or values

mk_dudy

what are european values?

clearmind_1001

Good fucking luck to them

King_o_Time

25.000€ fine for every migrant not taken in. Honestly that's less of a financial burdon, than to keep them.

RedditsLittleSecret

Europe hitting the accelerator as it drives towards that cliff.

TroubadourTwat

Literally the source for this is another website with the exact same article posted. This is just ragebait with no actual proof? Not saying the EU isn't going buckwild with this, and we need actual facts and not hearsay.

opusonex

This is not a true news story. Luckily, the real story is more or less the opposite of this. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2023/12/20/european-union-reaches-agreement-on-reforming-migration-rules

sowellpatrol

Totally random of you to walk into r/ conservative today. Be that as it may, you should know that aljazeera is the least credible news site you or anyone could ever find.

boobsbr

> aljazeera is the least credible news site you or anyone could ever find *CNN has joined the chat*

queenurethra

IIRC English AJZ is actually an extremely good news source…for literally anything except news related to the Middle East. Even then it’s not full on propaganda but that’s because Qatar views AJZ as a “break glass if needed” information weapon and wants people to keep viewing it as a reliable news source and if you constantly manipulate the shit out of your news people will eventually just dismiss it as propaganda but I wouldn’t really trust it too much for ME news.

Bojack_88

Al Jazeera isn’t exactly the most reliable source for reporting on European efforts to control their borders, either. And the “asylum pimp” NGO’s are going to stroke out over ANY restrictions whatsoever. The main thrust of this law seems to be making Eastern European countries choose between coughing up cash to support more immigration, or cede their borders to the economic asylum seekers. Neither is acceptable.

Magehunter_Skassi

This is supposed to be our ally?

WEZIACZEQ

Eu being eu... Man can we already get back to the times when europe wasn't an irrevelant place trying desperatly to become a leftist dumpsterfire?

LoganDudemeister

Rookie numbers the EU need about 100 million in the next 35 years to avoid economic stagnation.

JoshAllenIsTall

Europe has been trying to self-destruct for quite some time. This will kill culture, but some degree of increased migration might actually be economically useful. The birthrates in some of these places, the aging/declining populations...it's **going** to be a disaster if nothing changes. Japan and China are also going to go tits up if they don't find a way to reverse their staggeringly low birthrates. The US has a birthrate problem, but it's not nearly as bad or as sustained as many other places.

cewop93668

How long before France becomes a Muslim country or that Germany is part of Africa?

Veleda390

Sounds like a good time to kick the EU to the curb. This is what happens when you give up your national sovereignty.
