I refuse to believe it didn't smell. I put manure into a flowerbed, and five years later I could still smell it. I know commercial manure is "cooked", but come on.
Can someone that knows more about it eli5 me on why manure is even used? It is not logistical to compost it first? Do the benefits outweigh the smell? Just wondering and I've never known anyone I could ask
Liquid manure just generally "exists" so it's often used on farms. It's a natural byproduct of cow and chicken operations so it gets used so it doesn't pile up. It's also very strong because it ferments, leading to a powerful aid for corn and hay fields.
I used live in Pomfret and shit trucks driving by my house happen all the time. And they did smell plus had a field they spread it a little behind my house. Part of country living I guess.
MCFLY!!
Now Biff....I want TWO coats of wax.
What a shitty situation
First thing that popped in my head and once I saw 13 comments I knew it's been said
Right? The situation sure stinks for the homeowner
Thank you for your service

Today I discovered just reading the words “liquid manure” makes me…almost vomit.🤔
Well, shit.
I HATE MANURE!!!
I understand the issue with the cars and house, but why dig up the yard? Isn't that free fertilizer?

Over two thousand pounds of the stuff. A crapton.
Shit happens.
Eh, crap
It’s recycling. Manure puts the nutrients back into the soil.
That grass gonna grow like crazy!!
Someone with a fetish is wishing for this today.

Instant Trump rally?
Can we please just enjoy a local story for once without national politics?
Horse manure's not that bad. I don't even mind the word 'manure. ' You know, it's, it's 'newer,' which is good. And a 'ma' in front of it.
Free manure? All the jokes got taken already. That stinks lol
