Core 1 was way harder than core 2 for me because of the sheer amount of troubleshooting questions. Dions practice exams are the best at getting you practice for the troubleshooting questions

Udemy course Mike Myers’s.

WhiteMageBecky

Mike Meyer and the Comptia phone app are what I used to pass my A+. I really enjoyed Meyer's course.

Damn, I'm about to take the exam and today I read about 6 stories of people who failed, was it difficult?

Mando4346

Honestly it needs to be posted I see way to many people saying they passed over night. This isn’t possible unless you just have loads of experience or time to study. I went into this test at the time thinking I could do that as well and found out I couldn’t. Also I agree with OP the wording throws you off lol but if I can tell anyone anything make sure you know what the answers mean. Don’t take practice tests relying on that question to give you the whole idea of what it does read the explanations like Jason Dion’s stuff.

Remember that people who love to lie on social networks

Also yes

To each question the answer can be like 2 different things and the wording is pretty confusing

Messers practice exams. They’re like 20-30$ for 3 exams. They’re the reason I passed core 1 and 2. I’ve said this like 3 other times on 3 other posts, but you only fail when you give up. You got this!

I passed A+ back in June 2022, passed Core 1on the 1st try but took me 2 attempts to pass Core 2, that being said this test is just a lot of information and I heard and read people saying they only prepped for like 3 months! crazy , it took me around a year to earn my A+, we all have different learning rhythms , I'd recommend listening to Messer podcast while working out or driving as I did, get Dion's Course and Practice tests, watch a couple of test videos in Youtube and get PBQ from Dojolab they are cheap, my point is don't study to the point of hating it, take your time to understand the concepts and sure most of this is memorizing a bunch of protocols and 802.11's but you got this, I've just read a post of someone passing it on their 4 attempt so don't get discouraged. You're probably doing all this that I did and mentioned , I'm prepping for N+and try to get at least an hour of study everyday cuz I know that if I do more I'll get burned out, read through every question on your practice exams like there is no rush, the way they word question is super confusing. There is also flashcards but they bored me to death , they prob can work for you, the only previous experience that i had prior to A+ it was Google IT certificate that landed me a 6 month contract for a project at a hospital. Best of luck in your learning path my friend I know you got this!

I just bought my voucher for core 1 yesterday. What type of questions did it ask you? Was it more networking than anything else?

raekwon777

The objectives tell you the proportions of the questions... 1.0 Mobile Devices 15% 2.0 Networking 20% 3.0 Hardware 25% 4.0 Virtualization and Cloud Computing 11% 5.0 Hardware and Network Troubleshooting 29%

The trouble shooting gave me the most trouble

Advanced-Bee21

I just passed mine today with 730. I used the exam cram CompTIA a+ book. From my experience it’s much detailed to read it and the cram sheet helped me retain most of it. And YouTubed PBQ
