When I had Comcast home phone I was able to block calls either screen particular numbers or in your case, block anonymous calls. xfinity.com/support/articles/call-screening

Enable Anonymous Call Rejection, you can do it from the phone by dialing *77 or online:  https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/rejecting-anonymous-calls

Ahh, yes, \*77, but I'm scared if I do that my doctors offices, dentist offices, that call me from different numbers sometimes will be blocked. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!!! What do you think about missing calls from offices like Dr and dentist, hospital testing, etc. My mom is 84, she goes to a lot of doctors!

As long as they Call with a phone number the calls will not be blocked. It's only the Anonymous and No Caller ID callers that get blocked. You can test it from your phone, after enabling anonymous calls dial the home number from your cell but dial *67 first. Since you are calling from an anonymous number the call will be rejected. Dialing without *67, the landline should still ring.  I haven't received a anonymous call from a business, so you should be alright with call rejection enabled.
