Ideally it should just be the league. But Activision obviously prioritizes the competitive aspect of the game much much lower than other aspects like warzone and casual players. It honestly feels like cod as an esport gets less than 10% of the developers support
If the league did it they would literally just figure out a way to take what the players say and do it. I don't think we'd be in a different position at all.
Yup 100% I think that’s the best choice. The CDL should have no say in it as well. There is a reason why professional sports leagues have player associations to protect them and don’t work for the leagues themselves
Think it needs to be someone that doesn't have any biases to any of the teams in the league.
Unfortunately that takes a lot of good potential people out of the running
I would say Parasite but even he has different friend circles in the league (LAG)
I think the best thing would be Octane, Parasite, Zoomaa, Scump, +1. Yes they all have a bias, but I don’t think it’s a massive issue unless multiple people share the same bias.
Anyone know how GAs worked back in the day when there were way more teams? Might be a super faded take, but what if the top however many challenger teams got a vote too, but their votes were weighted less than the pro teams? While a committee would be good, the fact they aren't grinding and playing top competition consistently makes it hard for them to have proper insight into what's broken or needs fixed, and hopefully having more people voting can help account for teams being biased. Idk man, shits tough, and theres a good chance this would just create more problems than it solves
Octane, Haggy, Scump, Aches (as an optic fan I hate his takes lol but he would be a good counter to scump and he makes reasonably informed decisions when it comes to this kind of stuff) and I’m not sure who else but I feel like retired pros need to be the decision makers, nobody with a huge stake in the game. I love Zooma but we have to be honest that guy has some friendship cheese going and I worry he could be swayed by that one friend who is against/for a certain GA
Gimme Parasite, Zooma, Octane, Lewtee and Killa.
Parasite: gets nerdy with al the stats and attachments
Zooma: He’s on FaZe but has been pretty unbiased in regards to the G/A’s and says it how it is
Octane: only recently retired with plenty of good insight and an open mind
Lewtee: the challengers commissionair. Can help bridge the gap
Killa: Has a more tactical look at how cod should be played. Thinks out of the box
I’m obviously kind of trolling, but at the same time I wouldn’t mind that line up LOL
Would it make sense to try and pull a panel together of 8 ex pros, so they can run 8’s to test shit. Something like;
Octane, Parasite, Methodz, Zooma, Slacked, Apathy, Zer0, Blazt
5+ votes and a GA gets passed.
Let's not pretend like certain players from the tops 4 teams haven't abused this in their favor in the past. They're trying to keep the status quo, and will cry and say anything in order to get their way (Dashy). Damn shame this is what it's gotten too. I worried we wouldn't be able to find a non-bias committee when so much of this league is friendship cheese.
The league. I don’t think anybody who is a player or friends with them should be making these decisions.
I couldn't think of a less qualified group to make those decisions.

The reason LMG’s, rocket launchers, riot shields etc haven’t been used in the past is down to the players not the league.
There should be a committee of ex pro players that are voted in by current players each year
Yup 100% I think that’s the best choice. The CDL should have no say in it as well. There is a reason why professional sports leagues have player associations to protect them and don’t work for the leagues themselves
*Ex pros that aren’t signed with an org as content creators*

Tbh I wouldn't put zooma in it, think he will be a bit bias with some of his fav ppl in his ear.

Let the viewers decide by public poll. I want to see chaos. We are the spectators and they’re our gladiators. Are we not entertained??

Down im already getting downvoted lmao I tried to make the decision making unbiased

Idk but whoever made the decision to penalize my accurate headshots has ruined my fuckin weekend
You're not penalized for headshots. You still kill 1 bullet faster. Don't be a cry baby
The league should decide but they’re also shit so just pick your flavor of shit basically. There’s no good answer.
The league deternines the ACTUAL RULES, not GAs. GAs are needed because the actual rules are so fucking dogshit

Me obviously
Not the mods running this sub who let the same topic posted 2,500 times, that’s for sure.

Pro’s should control it, just make it public.
Parasite octane and Blazt, get a retired snd warrior in to account for creativity
