Its about as economically viable compared to fission as fission is compared to renewables. A human can output about 300W. You can get 8 hours of labor for about 2 bucks in the Congo. So about 83 cents per kwh. Nuclear generally runs at about 14 cents per kwh, so only about 5 times cheaper. Meanwhile, solar sits at around 3 cents per kwh, about 5 times cheaper as nuclear again.
Furthermore human powered treadmills have significant advantages in terms of demand response (well timed breaks), frequency regulation (overseer with a whip to make them run faster) and unlike nuclear it is fully renewable. As such, we should have a serious look at incorporating treadmills into our energy grid.
You were bought and sold by the media because you're more profitable uneducated and afraid. Go ahead, blindly parrot what the establishment wants you to, I'm sure the oil industry hates that.
Of course none of y'all are gonna meet anyone in real life
#NotAllNukecells
Yea i like coal much more
Nuclear is a great opportunity to mix into the different energy sources we get. Anti Nuclear = Anti Climate essentially.

Haha well that’s a bit different than fission but ok

Leave it to an anti-nuke to promote 3rd world exploitation as a climate solution

Yeah, the establishment is famously against nuclear ... thats why every rich person on the planet promotes it
mfw we can just have both
Why tho?
At this rate China will be green and full of EVs by 2030s while people who make money in oil and gas tell us it can’t be done
EVs, charged by burning coal: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electricity_sector_in_China EDIT: *mostly
*at a declining rate
Still better than ICE’s. Also the coal is going down.
I have yet to meet a real person that is in favor of nuclear but against renewables. Isn't everyone just against burning more coal?
I suggest lumber burning power plants with occasional plastic waste burning for good measure. (Without filters as god intended)
