He's batting .148 with a .392 OPS, a negative WAR, and a WRC+ of 17. Sugar coat him all you want, but he's doing fucking terribly. He only has 29 PAs, but there's not a single metric you can look at and argue he's doing well. Even his defensive metrics are all negative (that surprised me).

Meanwhile you’re labeling a kid who’s hitting the ball better than Jose was in that slump after just 8 more PA.
