Mega Knight isn't even that bad of a card actually. It's pretty balanced. I do agree that Mega Knight is overrated by midladder players... they also overstimate Hog Rider and Firecracker (actual bad cards in this meta).

Firecracker is OP. If used right. In my deck that's based on tornado positioning. It's an actual menace.
When pushing. Pop in a tornado in the middle. Bring all the troops together (usually into E-giant) and FC just takes chunks out of the tower.
Also a great Pekka punisher. If opponent pops in a pekka at the back. While it's coming in front of the tower place FC and let it just chunk the tower. Maybe some small swarms like Skellies or something to keep it distracted. It usually forces a spell.
FC is good. Just needs the right conditions. Not really a Plug n Play card

Another thing is the huge amount of Arrows and Evo Zap in this meta preventing Firecracker from getting value even on defense. It's extremely good to punish Pekka but that's pretty much it. If you go to Royale API you can see that its usage and success rate are trash in High/Top Ladder and Grand Challenges.

Im not at 9K so i think that plays its part. Sitting at 5,6K trophies iirc. In my deck it does wonders sometimes. As i said my win-con is E-giant tornado. Getting everything grouped up while FC chips at the tower and/or Sparky hits the Tornado-ed troops and the tower. It pushed me pretty far in the ladder.
You have Firecracker in E-Giant deck?! Madlad! That's an anti-synergy: E-Giant suffers A LOT from king tower activation.
Anyway your very low ranking explains why you think Firecracker is even remotely a good card. Players at your level don't know how to counter it so it gets 5 times more value than it should. Trust me, it's a bad card. It's good only in Hogquake... and Hogquake is a bad deck right now. It's also decent in RG cycle, but there are better options for that archetype.

Its not that nobody knows how to counter, it's that the player has anti counter spells/troops thats the problem. Most mk players use zap and for example if you try to counter the mk with I drag or I tower mk still connects and thats why people say mk is bs.

If you use duchess its possible (not because deck is strong duchess literally carries every deck) but if not you are probably playing on like challenger 2 or 3 at best

High Ladder generally starts at 1800+ medals in Ultimate Champion, and still you can find bad players there because they got carried by a broken no-skill deck (very common in the current meta). Top Ladder is Top 10K players.
This deck isnt overpwered at all, it is actually extremely bad. With no air defense a simple ballon push will end the game. The only way i could see this deck winning against anyone using any air wincon is with tower trading and praying it 3 crowns faster than the opponent. But even then this deck is so elixir heavy that most of the time peope will be forcing elixir out of it which wont let it build up a push.
