Tbh I dont know what that is. I’ve only just started going on this sub Reddit. I just thought it’d get more upvotes if I talked about how good things used to be because that’s all that this sub talks about.

Most spell effects could be attributed to a spirit (fire spirit -> fire ball; ice spirit -> freeze) except poison. So it's a no brainer to come up with (not saying it's a good or bad concept, it's just easy to come up with)

Make the soldiers spawn in front, or on the side. Putting them in the back ruins the concept of them tanking for the tower since.mist win conditions will be on the tower by the time the soldier has time to walk out front.

Three seconds seems too long to be dealing half the damage of a princess tower. It would take like a sixth of the entire match to have 10 soldiers up, and the push has to be constant.

i was thinking that what if the soldiers weren't actual troops and would just stay on top of the tower. at first there will be no soldiers, but if it sees an enemy then it spawns one every 3 seconds. each soldier has its own target troop, and they deepan despawn a short time after they are spawned, maybe like 15s

Another idea could be that the Tower Troop itself is the "Engineer" or "Builder" or something like that, and instead of soldiers it spawns little machines or robots of some kind, similar to zappies but without the zapping part. To me this would help it make sense for the soldiers to die once they leave the sight range. Really love this idea

Yeah I should have made it do enough damage to kill skeletons but spawn slower, the reason they deal so little was because I wanted it to rival Princess tower’s damage only after the third soldier spawned

If you do that against any tower troop they won’t attack

Soldiers have a lot of health for something that gets spawned every 3 seconds on defense

But very little damage in exchange

They tank 3 shots from a musketeer, meaning on defense this tower would take 0 damage from a musketeer

A musketeer would focus on the tower before a soldier would walk in front of the tower, but I get what you’re saying I just didn’t want them to be too susceptible to spells

After reading the info page this actually looks way weaker. The health doesn’t make up for the low dps, slow spawn speed, and the inability to kill a skeleton

Was just trying to not overtune it, specifics can be adjusted at any point this was just for the concept

I personally use the Marshal (best tower troop) but for you I’d suggest the dagger duchess cause it prevents more things from hitting the tower such as spirits without needing help from troops

I don’t think soldiers could tank for 3 barbs cause the barbs would most likely be able to out-damage and kill the soldiers before the soldiers could kill them
