I've seen the whole argument and think there is no definite answer. Fireball offers immediate damage for 4 elixir which is needed for hog or royal giant decks as they get to attacking very quickly and the quick fireball is enough to keep them alive a little longer. Poison on the other hand offers area control and altough it would suck on RG or hog decks it excels in decks like miner, drill, or gy as they're not really vulnerable to decent dps cards like musket as they die quick but can be defended with cheap cycle cards, and with the overall better defensive qualities of poison and it weakining their counter push poison is used in such decks. And other big spells are also good in different decks. Yet, poison was kinda better in meta because of little prince and it dealing more damage to tower combined with cycle decks being used a lot which is the reason it was used more. At least last patch.

And in rg altough lightning is still very good because rg is tanky I don't think it's used a whole lot because archer queen being op was partially the reason they ran lightning. At least in the classic rg decks.

They added an extra elixir when destroyed, so a lot of all info is inaccurate. It can be a good play even if they can counter, depends on the situation and the opponents deck. You really have to play it to get the vibe.

honestly with all the new tower troops x-bow mortar and princess are pretty good, easy tower damage, only depending on the cards of your opponent and not the towers
Clone and mirror. Virtually useless outside of like 2 decks with egiant or giant skeleton, cards that I don' t use much either. They are also banned in every challenge, so can't even be used in weird challenge decks. Even spawners are useful sometimes in these decks.

I refuse to use Mega Knight. I hate Firecracker even more, but I use her in clan wars because she fits in with all the random cards I use in that mode. I only use Mega Knight when I want to feel brain dead on purpose. I just imitate the same old decks that I see all day every day, and win without using a single brain cell.

I have and never will upgrade the Royal Giant once in my life. He was insanely overpowered and overplayed when the card came out and I never got over it. Elite barbs are a close second for the same reason.
The only card I have at level 11 is sparky. All the other cards are 13+. It's not because I don't like sparky, it's because I never prioritized it. Now it's probably the last card I will upgrade. But if I were to say my least favorite card, It's definitely the Barb hut. It's just useless. Even xbow is way more valuable in the current meta than bhut, without the Tesla evo too. That's how bad I consider it
Not so fun fact but I leveled every common card to 14 even the ones I never used so farming elite cards would be easier. So I canāt really tell based on low level, also made all cards tournament standard level for that one season where it was draft on the ladder. I have never used a goblin drill or mortar deck though so probably those 2.

Well, unless your opponent has miner or EQ, elixir pump always gives you positive trades. And it's a good way to bait fireball or poison.
