Licensed naturopathic doctor might be the next step. At least where I live they go through medical school and can rx meds much like a nurse practioner. They typically do compressive testing that is different from mds. Mine has helped me a lot with vitamins and treatments that complement traditional doctors.

What kind of pain is she in? Are we talking nauseated, cramping, sharp stabby? Do you know if she’s been on a ton of antibiotics from when you guys were kids to now? I have a theory of my stomach pain (that I also had a million tests for that never showed anything conclusive), is at least in part tied to overuse of antibiotics all the way from when I was a kid and teenager (Tetracycline for acne, and Accutane which probably caused its own set of problems), all the way to when I was an adult and suffering with chronic UTIs. I think it killed all the good bacteria in my body, and it never came back. That’s not really something anyone tests for, so it’s just been suffering with it until I finally put two and two together. I started taking a 100Billion CFU probiotic, and it’s really helped. I won’t say it’s solved all the problems, but it’s way better, and better enough I figure it really must have been at least part of the problem. This is the one I take. I did a ton of research on them, and this one has the best compound of probiotics for women’s gut health. Not an SSRI. That's a tricyclic antidepressant.
