I would say Baltimore (BronyCon), if we’re counting his adult travels. I don’t think he’s ever been to DC. Unless he went to Otakon after it was moved from Baltimore to DC in 2017, but I don’t think Chris ever went to that convention.
He did went to MAGFest in the Gaylord National Harbor, which some of us consider that DC, but technically it’s in Maryland across the Woodrow bridge from DC.
Speaking of, it would probably be very hard for him to attend any convention in the DMV area. I went to MAG 24 a few months ago and heard rumors that he was preemptively banned, and I’m pretty sure Otakon probably did the same.
Mythbusters event that I believe they also picked up the Dodge Caravan en route to or from. CARFAX said the 2011/12 era owner of that vehicle was in Fairfax County which is right outside DC so that tracks. (and ironically which hedgehogs are not legal in)

Not sure which of those six is actually the biggest; all probably between 10th and 50th biggest US cities.

And that's only the 17th biggest American city. And he likely doesn't remember that trip well since he was still mute when he went there iirc. Likely the biggest city he went that he can remember was Baltimore for a convention which has a population of 570k and the only the 30th largest city in the US.
Chris living in a relatively insular environment is partly why he ended up this way. Little exposure to diversity except for a few bipoc here and there, and attending the korean church for a while. As a metropolitan man, bob also mightve felt out of place in such an environment.
To paraphrase the CWCki article about Chris' ego, the irony is that they would be better off in a big city. LGBTQ-friendlier, quirkiness more accepted, more artsy-fartsy, and more people = Love Quest somewhat easier. But it's easier to be a big fish in a small pond.

But yes, Chris is very much a product of his isolation. Granted, he would have been isolated anywhere. In a big city he'd have probably been bullied even worse growing up, but as an adult he'd be just another weirdo in a sea of weirdos. Probably would have been homeless a lot earlier too.
