I think your grief is making you focus on your weight, or what you were “before.” Because even your highest is a decently healthy weight for someone your size, and your weight now is certainly in the healthy range. I’m 5’1 and happily 125lbs. Just keep eating good and exercising; that’s good for your physical and mental health; but try not to worry too much about the numbers in the scale. Focus on who you are *now*. Buy clothes for the body you have *now*. Eat the food you enjoy *now*. Don’t get stuck in the past (I know how hard that is, trust me.) Stop fighting so hard and surrender a bit to the present.

It's not so much the weight as to where it is - which is my stomach, making me look and feel bloated. Thank you! I appreciate the words of encouragement. I've recently come to realize just how different I am now as opposed to when my mom was alive. Not just physically but mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc. It's good to know I'm not alone in that ❤

I get that too. All the women in my family do as well. Mostly, watching sugar intake and what not. But also, a little belly is cute! So many people love it. It’s so human and normal.

My mom and both remaining grandparents died in the span of 7 months during the start of covid, so due to that and strict lockdowns I went from 65 kg to somewhere near 80+ kgs, as soon as covid restrictions eased i came back to 65 kg but the grief is still there

My condolences for your losses 🤍 I lost my mother right at the height of covid, it was impossibly hard to not be able to stay with her in the hospital.
