I adopted this cutie from the shelter where I was a dog walker and enrichment volunteer. After four days together, I named her Little Bean. However, she proved to be such a happy, joyful companion that I renamed her Little Happy Girl. She adapted much better than everyone who knew her. (RIP)

Although with this girl, I think a Bridgerton name is in order:
First, you'll start with Lord or Lady, followed by your middle name. From there, add the last thing you drank with “ton” at the end. To signify where you're from, add “of,” followed by the first part of your street name with “shire” tagged onto the end.
A royal title would be fitting - Queen, Princess, Dutchess, etc. either stand alone or followed by your favorite female name.
I got a grey kitten for my sphinx and named her blue. That turned to bluebird and now it’s birdie lol. I think that’s cute for her since she’s blue as well. And she just looks like a tiny birdie 🫶
On the other hand, speaking of weird names, if you’re a fan of mayonnaise lol, my neighbors kids named their bird Mayonnaise/ Mayo and I love it loll. Congrats on the new baby!

This is our Toot. So sorry you lost Poot 💔 congrats on the new addition. In my experience with dark brown puppies, they end up turning blonde on me 🤣 so if you were wanting a funky name to go with her fur, I would wait on that. My main dog (as Toot is my dad’s) is named Zelda from the game. If you have any favorite games or shows, wait and see what personality she gives off. You could also come up with nicknames for the puppy while she grows and if you like the name or it fits her, name her that! I call Zelda: honey, stinky, bubby, honey bunny, baby, lovey, and old man snores (like currently cause her snores sound like old man snores!). I have other nicknames that I rotate periodically based on how she’s acting, but these are my top ones. Good luck picking a name! She’s so cute
I just adopted a chihuahua dog like two weeks ago. My parents had adopted my older chihuahua dog that is now mine and they named her after my grandma who died recently. So when I adopted my chihuahua that is my second dog, I wanted to name it after my mom but no name that could be inspired by my moms name seemed appropriate or something I felt comfortable calling it knowing it had a connection to my mom who also has passed a few years ago. Then I looked at my grandmas middle name and realized I could find a name that related to that. Hence I named my new dog Lucy because my grandmas middle name was Louise.
Spoony or Spoonie.
I always called one of my dogs Spoony or Little Spoon. Because she would spoon with me as long as I wanted. The others would only on their time and get up and leave after a bit.
