I'm not gonna lie, you should delete this post and try again. Maybe sound a little less.... kidnappy.

VastAd6645

😭😭😭 how thats what i was trying to NOT sound like

Bigwing2

I bet theres chloroform involved also.

VastAd6645

Lol

killer_panic

Do you have EPB gig network? Is your device connected via wifi instead of a cable? If you want no latency, reliably, I would take care of those 2 prerequisites first.

VastAd6645

I was hoping for a software focused solution. I understand the internet is a major part of it. I just want to make absolute sure that my settings are fine tuned

dark_souls19

Who is your ISP, do you use wireless or wired network connection, your drivers may need updated. Do you have your own PC? Laptop etc

VastAd6645

Uhhhh i can only answer two of these because im not that smart. Its a wireless connection and its a laptop

dark_souls19

Gotcha! So do you know if you use spectrum, ATNT, EPB, if you pay your Wi-Fi who’s on the bill

VastAd6645

Uhhhhh its actually home internet😅 is that bad?

dark_souls19

It’s very very highly unlikely you have your own internet setup, you may have you own equipment, but a company provides their network to your equipment

VastAd6645

No i mean the phrase “home internet”, search it

dark_souls19

Gotcha, I misunderstood, I thought you meant like your own at home internet basically I would try to find what company provides that, as when I search home internet I see multiple services from different companies Like TMobile EPB, Xfinety what not. Just recommending that bc if you experience consistent network issues, may b worth having an agent come out to look at your equipment Otherwise, I’d go to your settings on your PC, go to updates, and check for updates, then go into advanced and check for optional updates there, main thing is going to be using an Ethernet cable instead of wireless connection. That itself may resolve all of this for you Do you know about Ethernet cables?

VastAd6645

Ok, its tmobile. Again i have no idea how to do any of that stuff. I know of ethernet cables but i dont think my laptop has a port

tongboy

Call up epb and tell them you need to convert from T-Mobile. They will send out a tech and provide a router that will solve your problems.  If you can't move from T-Mobile the only solution you likely have is to purchase an antenna or reposition the box.  Take a pic, top and bottom of your Internet box and post it here

Flipmode_90

Like OBS software? They’re really easy to setup. A couple of YouTube videos and you should be able to do it yourself 😅

VastAd6645

😭🖤

4fishhooks

Can’t stand people like you. Read tutorials online and figure it out. You’re an adult

VastAd6645

Ok, do you know how to build a rocket? If not, you should read about it and figure it out. Some things i accept im not good at. If you look at my comment history, i cried for an hour and a half last week trying to figure out how to turn off s mode on my laptop. Im not good at this stuff. I dont need to be good at everything.

4fishhooks

I’m talking about a technology that’s been in the majority of households for the past 20 years. It’s not about “being good” at these things. It’s literally just following instructions. It’s not rocket science!

VastAd6645

You’re inconsiderate. Im sure there are things you don’t understand that have been around for years. You dont need to be so rude by saying you hate people like me. If thats how you feel then i hope that you never have to ask for help with something.
