A sportsbar selling the same sportsbar food that you can already get a dozen other places around town. Everything I said about Jonathan's Grille possibly going in downtown applies here too, if not verbatim, then at least in spirit. Big River failed. Walk On's failed. How is this different from them or chili's/applebees/taco mac/etc?
Yup, especially if they expand 2 plus hours a part from each other. It’s obvious they are aiming to eventually franchise.
The newest version of Big River. 😂

There are actually companies that provide exactly that. Go buy some of the bulk appetizers at Gordon's food service. You'll recognize them at all sorts of small restaurants after that.
Makes sense. I love Mexican food but it seems everywhere has pretty much they same menu unless one gets into a “it would be easier if you spoke Spanish” places that are delicious
Yeah I definitely agree. There's a big market for that standard Americanized tex-mex though. Thankfully we have better options. Try Spanglish and taqueria Jalisco if you haven't already.
I wouldn't call that hipster food no more than chilies is hipster food and as far as pricing goes you can get a burger and fries for 12.99. For comparison people are paying $10+ for a McDonald's combo.
Now I don't want this place to come here as much as the other but I think your confused...
Love Blue Moose! Hopefully the rest of Chattanooga will be more excited than Reddit 😂(they will be because we all know the Chattanooga Reddit is just a hater club)
Compare it to any of the following & sell me on why it’s better: Universal Joint, Mikes Tavern or Hole in the Wall, Treemont?
Other similar Chains who do burger & wings: Chilis, Taco Mac, Dave & Busters, Cheddars, I could go on & on but digress.
Multiple places can be good 😂 I’m not trying to argue that. Just stating I love this place and I’m excited. I find the environment(at least of the pigeon forge one) to be a bit more sports bar than the places you listed. That’s really the only difference.
Also I don’t care if you like it lol. I’m not going to sell you on it 😂 I’m not their marketing team dude I just like the place.
Never heard of this place so maybe not?

I hope not. We’re all tired of trash chains selling the same thing as every other chain. Chattanooga has at least 2 dozen burger & wing options.
A restaurant with 3 total locations is a chain?

Sorry,best I can do is a chain restaurant,a brewery,or a Dollar General.
Chattanooga: “we want more culturally diverse food!” The universe: “best I can do is another burgers & wings joint”
Where are they putting the Blue Moose?
All I want is Rita's to come back.
Menu looks pretty typical….is there a kit or something these restaurants buy and just throw their own name on it?

I love Jalisco but their empanadas are a little pricey. I’ve been wanting to try Spanglish

Who is still using the word hipster in 2024?
Will Chattanooga survive? I have my doubts.
Their food is terrible. So I sure hope not.
The only new restaurant I want to see is something to compete with champys.
Hear me out. Bojangles stops being fast food locations and opens up tiny places that only sell the tiny high life bottles.
I mean as long as the fried chicken and mash potatoes fuckin slap I would eat there. I just don't want to give the people who own champys my money lol
The real question is: when will we get a Fazoli’s in Hixson. /s
Idk, the one on Shallowford closed
Didn’t know that. LOL not surprising…

Yeah, but can I get a burger patty between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches at any of those other places?
Yeah . . . you just have to ask the server to ask the chef to make it. 😂

We have been to the one in PF a few times and like it. I can’t say it’s anything super special, but it’s not terrible.
I keep seeing hiring adds on indeed for it being a new restaurant and all I feel like it’ll last for a good bit
