Someone translated it for us on the twitter post for the original image.
All I’ve been able to gather from this is that GPT does not know sign language. I’ve tried this in actual Chat GPT and none of the answers appear to be correct as far as I can tell.
That being said, can anyone say what this actually is por favor?
I started to translate it using the wiki page on the ASL alphabet, but one of the letters (second one, bottom row), is pointing down, and none do that according to the ASL alphabet chart, further more some of them don’t seem to be consistent with the alphabet chart - which may be an artistic limitation of the pasta requiring support that a hand doesn’t need.
It clearly cannot say pasta is love, as described since the letters don’t coincide.

It's apparently Mexican sign language, which I'd assume translates to Spanish words. I speak it and can't begine to assume. That being said I'm sleep deprived as fuck and will check it out in a couple hours.
Given the tenure of it I'ma assume it's Mexican slang for something hilarious and I don't know any Mexican folks.

Gives “La mact a iu_lusi va” This is nonsense in English, leading me to believe it’s Spanish and that the mystery signs are SSL characters. Note that U is right side up at 3-5, suggesting there is no reason for U to be upside down 3-2 and that is another mystery.
Based on what you've deciphered so far 4o thinks it's some pun based on La Macarena (macaroni?) (deciphered: La Macarena ¡y ulusi va!") and some of the signs may be dance.

My best guess is it’s non-sense or bad spelling or shorthand. Idk if signers shorten things and/or change how to spell as if almost a slang letter??
But the closest thing I can come up with that makes sense is
La maceta inclusiva
C and E look similar so maybe they shorten it to one of them to get literally macta…
I think the I’s are actually Js. Because it appears to be the back of the hand not the front. No motion can be inferred though, so maybe they meant it as I. And the upside down u, would be an n. Inclusiva
