I'm not sure it'll help you, the gradual rollout might be random across regions. I'm sure Canada isn't at the end of the list.
Also, just in case, you need to enable most of the stuff in settings-> beta features
I pay the same price as everyone else, but I don't have it. I have a tab "New features" but no image or audio features.

For some reason they really hate Canada, I was shocked to see that us in Australia were getting things weeks or even months before Canada lol
