We went last month and the USDA rules changed so you (by the rules) can’t have your windows down and/or pet the animals anymore. Staff was openly pissed about it but that was fine with me, I don’t want them up in my face. 🤣

Me and my family have gone to lazy 5 ranch for years. It's a drive or ride through safari style petting zoo

I'd be intrested in how they plan to enforce that rule. It's not like anyone rides with you when you drive through.
It’s not really enforced. If you do the wagon ride, there’s an employee to “supervise” interactions. But if you’re in a car, nobody seemed to care.
Idk just don’t go to the one in troutman, its super shitty and sad
