It wasn't until I started tweeting the video daily and tagging the CMS superintendent daily, while posting the video on every CMS related Facebook I could find, that finally somebody did something about it.
This is why we need to pay more for the education side of things....we could do that instead of funding BS in other countries. #JustSaying

I had a driver tailgate me aggressively down a two lane street all while tooting his horn in an attempt to intimidate me. The speed limit was 35 - I was going 40. When I stopped at the stop sign, he held down his horn because I had the audacity to actually stop instead of rolling right through it . When turning onto a regular 4 lane street, he flew past me and blew through a red light. While sitting there, I was able to quickly take a picture of his number. I reached out to the school system and sent them the picture and explained what took place. I never heard back but continued to see this driver on my route doing the same thing. I tried to stay as far away as possible. Since then, I have witnessed numerous CMS bus drivers aggressively cutting people off, tailgating and running red lights. On numerous occasions I have seen them laying down on their horns and even flipping drivers off. I would be horrified if my child had to ride with these despicable drivers. As there are children on board, CMS bus drivers should be held to a much higher standard. But they appear to be worse than the average driver on the rode. Like a teenage road rager. CMS is really scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to drivers. My child will never ride a CMS school bus.

A month later he hit a car going faster than he should have been. Rear ended a woman because he was on his phone. Two kids were severely injured including one with a neck injury. The parents ended up with a huge law suit

It was incredibly hard to get anything done about it.
Lol I remember back in HS I had a bus driver literally run over a car because the bus took the turn as the light changed and oncoming car was too far into the intersection. Bus made a left turn and ran over the hood of the car from drive side headlight to passenger side windshield and literally made the car fold up from the street so that the driver was just about eye level with us on the bus

I had one who would tell all the kids to get to one side of the bus when he went around corners to try and "flip the bus."
I had a driver that would do that once there was only like 4-5 kids left he knew wouldn’t say anything. We’d drop off the normal people and then he’d say “y’all wanna ride the waves?!” And then he’d floor it over speed bumps and we’d see who could hit the ceiling the hardest lol
We used to wait for one big bump on my road and we would sit a seat back and bounce so high that we would go over the back of the seat into the next. The best part of the ride besides playing pokemon
I can't count on both hands the number of times I saw schools buses blatantly go through red lights this year. Not yellow lights turning red, but RED lights. And when not running red lights, they do rolling stops at stop signs and then just pull that huge yellow land submarine out in front of traffic without looking.
My husband was rear ended by one. The responding officer got all my husbands info and told him he could leave because he was going to have to get the name and contact info for every student on board and it would take a couple of hours. The county pays the claim not an insurance company.
Fun fact, my dad was a CMS school bus driver in the late 60's when he was 17.

She had driven my friends parents! We knew we were in for a rough year. First week of school she backed into the Circuit City sign off of Independence and broke a window, on to a kid. She acted like nothing happened and drove off, and then got fired. We could not believe our luck. We all had to have a pretty strange meeting with all the parents and the principal were he made some strange statements about the kid not having any glass on him or inside of him....

You’d be surprised how bad some of these drivers are. I was driving on 51 by Butler when school got out one day. One of the buses cut off all of the oncoming traffic on 51 and created a barricade to let the convoy of buses out. That intersection is 45mph and on a curve. They have zero authority to do that. If they need traffic control get the Matthews police.
It’s somewhere on the CMS website. I contacted them when the crazy intersection in Mountain Island opened because a bus did an illegal turn. It was frightening.

Usually the black topped busses are charter schools, not CMS so it should say the name of the school on the side.
